The slide projections (48) slide in the slide grooves (6) so that the release lever (40) is guided by the slide grooves (6) in a slidable manner. The slide grooves (6) include water drain grooves (8) provided on bottoms thereof and extending downward to penetrate the bottoms.

摘要: An object is to provide a connector which can prevent a foreign object from contacting an insert and which can reduce insertion force for inserting the insert into a mating terminal. A connector includes a rod-shaped insert to which a mating terminal is fitted from front, a housing having a tube-shaped terminal receiving portion arranged to receive the insert, an insulating contact prevention member arranged between a peripheral wall of the terminal receiving portion and the insert so as to slide along a terminal fitting direction of the mating terminal and the insert, and an elastic member which exerts a force on the contact prevention member toward the front end side of the insert. The contact prevention member includes a tapered face slanted radially-outward towards the rear side of the terminal fitting direction.

摘要: A connector fitting structure includes: a first connector including: a first housing that accommodates a first connection terminal; and a guide groove provided in the first housing; a second connector including: a second housing that accommodates a second connection terminal; a guide protrusion portion inserted into the guide groove; and a connector cover pivotable between a closed position that covers an opening to an accommodation space for the second connection terminal and an open position that does not cover the opening. The first connector and the second connector are fitted and electrically connected to each other. The guide protrusion portion is provided on the connector cover, accommodated in the second housing when the connector cover is in the closed position, and exposed outside the second housing and extended along a fitting direction of the first connector and the second connector when the connector cover is in the open position.

摘要: In an electrical connector, a latch claw is provided at a nearer side than a lock claw in a fitting direction of a connector fitting portion to a power receiving connector. While the latch claw is retracted into the connector fitting portion, the latch arm swings to release the latching between a latch piece and a second latch groove portion. The power feedability determining mechanism includes a movable shaft moving in a direction perpendicular to the fitting direction when a half-fitting state changes to a fitting state, and a regulation arm insertable into or extractable from an air gap of a lock arm according to the movement of the movable shaft. The regulation arm is inserted into the air gap to regulate swinging of the lock arm.

The packing is configured such that as the cover moves from the open position to the closed position, the lid-shaped portion comes into contact with the opening portion and is displaced toward the space, and the support portion is elastically deformed as the lid-shaped portion is displaced.
