    摘要: The present invention provides:A core-shell insert latex composition comprising latex particles, each latex particle comprising:(a) a core comprising a (co)polymer comprising (meth)acrylate ester;(b) a shell, surrounding the core, comprising a copolymer, wherein the copolymer comprises:(i) a nitrogen-bearing ethylenically-unsaturated free-radically polymerizable monomer;(ii) at least one (meth)acrylate ester of about a C.sub.1 to about a C.sub.14 alcohol; and(iii) an optional ethylenically-unsaturated free-radically polymerizable silane monomer; wherein the nitrogen-bearing ethylenically-unsaturated free-radically polymerizable monomer comprises from about 15 to about 60 percent by weight of the shell and further wherein the core comprises from about 40 to about 85 percent of the weight of the total core-shell latex particle.The invention also relates to the use of the core-shell latex composition as a binder or primer for coatings and adhesives.

    摘要: An illumination apparatus includes a light guide plate, a first light source module, and a second light source module. The light guide plate has a first incident surface and a second incident surface opposite to the first incident surface. The first and the second light source modules provide light beams into the first and the second incident surfaces, respectively. The first light source module includes at least one first white light emitting diode (LED) and at least one second white LED neighboring with each other. The first and the second white LEDs have different color temperatures. The second light source module includes at least one third white LED and at least one forth white LED neighboring with each other. The third and the forth white LEDs have different color temperatures. The third and the forth white LEDs are located corresponding to the second and the first white LEDs, respectively.

A first screen panel and a second screen panel are assembled together with the frame assembly and electrically coupled with each other. A main circuit board electrically connected with both the first and second screen panels defines a receiving opening upon which an underside of the second screen panel is rested. A gap is defined between the second screen panel and the main circuit board when the underside of the second screen panel is rested upon the receiving opening of the main circuit board. Wherein the frame assembly has at least one positioning member configured to be inserted into the gap for restraining the second screen panel in place.

    摘要: An ionomeric particulate composition made by suspension polymerization is provided. The composition comprises at least one vinyl monomer; an acid monomer; a metal oxide; at least two surfactants, one of which is a monomer surfactant; and polyacrylamide. The particulates' size can be controlled by use of the polyacrylainide and various surfactants, and not through the conventional means of homogenization. Particle size in the range of less than 10 micrometers can be made. The ionomeric particulate is made in the absence of a chain transfer agent and thus can have high molecular weight.

    摘要: A water-based pressure sensitive adhesive dispersion is provided. The dispersion is a reaction product of a monomer solution and an aqueous phase. The monomer solution contains from about 40 to 70 parts water-insoluble monomer selected from the group consisting of alkyl acrylate, methacrylate, vinyl ester, and combinations thereof and from about 0.01 to 0.2 parts monomer soluble free radical initiator. The aqueous phase includes from about 1 to 20 parts latex binder, from about 0.1 to 2 parts surfactant, from about 0.02 to 1 parts polymeric suspension stabilizer, and water as a remaining balance. All parts are given as parts by weight per 100 parts of the dispersion. The dispersion has a solid phase of at least 60 weight percent, a viscosity of less than about 300 centipoise, measured at about 23° C., and a bimodal particle size distribution.

    摘要: A method of making ionomeric particulate compositions by suspension polymerization are provided. The method comprises the steps of (a) forming an aqueous phase comprising an acid monomer, a metal oxide, and at least a first and a second surfactant, the first being a monomer surfactant; (b) forming an oil phase comprising at least one vinyl monomer; and (c) suspension polymerizing the aqueous phase with the oil phase to yield an ionomeric particulate composition. The resulting particulates do not have pressure sensitive tack. Particle size in the range of less than 10 micrometers can be made. The ionomeric particulate is made in the absence of a chain transfer agent and thus can have high molecular weight.
