摘要： 2,2,3-trifluoropropionyl fluoride is prepared by opening the ring of tetrafluorooxetane in the presence of a catalyst. Analogously, a novel 2,2-difluoropropionic acid derivative of the formula:XCH.sub.2 CF.sub.2 COY (I)wherein X is chlorine, bromine, iodine, a group of the formula:R.sub.1 O-- (II)orR.sub.2 COO-- (III)wherein R.sub.1 R.sub.2 are each an aliphaic or halogenated aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms or an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 8 carbon atoms optionally bearing at least one substituent, or a group of the formula:X'CH.sub.2 CF.sub.2 CF.sub.2 O-- (IV)wherein X' is fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, the group of the formula: R.sub.1 O--or R.sub.2 COO--; and Y is fluorine or a group of the formula:--OR.sub.3 (V)wherein R.sub.3 is an aliphatic or halogenated aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms except a perfluorohydrocarbon group or an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 8 carbon atoms optionally bearing at least one substituent or of the formula :--OCH.sub.2 R.sub.f (V')wherein R.sub.f is an aliphatic perfluorohydrocarbon having 1 to 7 carbon atoms is prepared.

摘要： An apparatus for preventing defective packing of cigarets wherein a presser which moves a plurality of cigarets arranged on two or three steps so as to be packed at a fixed velocity in the lengthwise direction of the cigarets along a frame is provided, a plurality of contact arms opposed to the respective cigarets arranged on the uppermost step are respectively independently rotatably supported on a shaft arranged above and at right angles with the frame, each contact arm is fitted with a shielding plate at the upper end and with a roller at the lower end so as to be suspended by the self-weight of the roller and to be pressed to rotate by the cigaret on the upper step with which it contacts, on the other hand, a sensing lever rotated by a supporting shaft is projected at right angles with the advancing direction of the cigarets on the side of the lower step of the cigarets so as to rotate clockwise and anticlockwise against a spring and to be pressed to rotate by the side of the cigarets with which it contacts and a shielding plate is fitted to the supporting shaft so as to normally intercept a beam from a projector and to open the beam when rotated.

摘要： A corrosion-resistant electric motor casing comprises a substantially cylindrical yoke and barrel, and a pair of brackets fixed to and closing the axially opposite ends of the yoke and barrel. The yoke and barrel comprises a first member substantially in the form of a hollow cylinder made of a material which is sufficiently ferromagnetic to serve as a motor yoke, and a second member in the form of a pipe of aluminmum fitted over the first member and covering the outer peripheral surface thereof. The motor casing is made highly resistant to corrosion without involving an increase in the weight and cost thereof.
