    Abstract: An electrodeless lamp is disclosed. The electrodeless lamp according to the present invention is characterized in that SnI2 is used as a major component filled into a bulb as a filler, and the filler is excited by applying a microwave or high frequency to the bulb for thereby generating a visual ray for thereby obtaining a certain color temperature proper as a light source and implementing a faster light emission start-up at a lower cost without an additive.

    Abstract: A resonator for use in microwave lighting apparatus includes a mesh portion formed in a cylindrical shape with one side opened, at least one portion of which prevents microwave transmitted through a waveguide from leaking and light radiated from a light bulb is transmitted outwardly, the mesh portion being formed integral without a joint. Since the portion of the mesh structure is integrally formed as one body without a joint rather than being welded to be coupled, the microwave is prevented from leaking. In addition, since the holes of the mesh portion are uniformly formed without any clogged portion, the light transmittance area is enlarged, improving the light efficiency of the lighting apparatus.
