摘要： Provided are a method and apparatus for encoding and decoding a datastream into which multiview image information is inserted. The method of decoding a multiview image datastream includes extracting multiview image information including information on at least one view image of a multiview image, from at least one elementary stream of the multiview image datastream; extracting a multiview image parameter regarding the multiview image based on the number of elementary streams and a correlation between view images of the multiview image; and restoring the multiview image by using the extracted multiview image parameter and the extracted multiview image information.

The method includes: receiving a first file including information about a period of first content and information about a period of second content; receiving and reproducing media data of the first content based on the received first file; stopping reproducing of the media data of the first content and receiving and reproducing media data of the second content based on the first file; and receiving and reproducing the media data of the first content when the reproducing the media data of the second content is completed, wherein the information about the period of the second content includes location information about the second media data of the second content or location information of a second file including the location information about the second media data of the second content.

摘要： An apparatus and method for combining multimedia data are provided. The method includes obtaining first multimedia content from a first source, obtaining second multimedia content from a second source, selectively combining the first multimedia content with the second multimedia content, and outputting the selectively combined multimedia content. According to implementations of the invention, selected portions and/or fragments of multimedia content may be mashed up rather than the entirety of the multimedia content from either or both sources. Also, the mashup of the multimedia content may be varied and adapted based on the characteristics of the device performing the mashup as well as the characteristics of the available transport mechanism. Finally, implementations of the invention provide for flexible transformation and precise synchronization among multimedia elements.
