The method includes: acquiring an application message providing the IPTV communication service from an external input with respect to a general-purpose web application by using plug-in application programming interfaces (APIs) of a web browser which are independent of an IPTV communication service provider; sending the application message to an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) gateway (IG) functional entity apparatus; and receiving a response message comprising a result of processing the application message as a response to the sending of the application message, from the IG functional entity apparatus.

    摘要： Provided are methods and apparatuses to display customized data. A browser agent of an Internet protocol television (IPTV) displays customized data. The browser agent includes a usage pattern monitor which monitors a user's usage pattern of the IPTV; and a user interest data analyzer which analyzes the usage pattern obtained by the usage pattern monitor to obtain information on what the user is interested in. Accordingly, the method of displaying customized data and the browser agent enable to automatically search and provide data in which a user is usually interested so that the user can view a huge amount of data more promptly and conveniently.

The method at a server includes: generating a media presentation description (MPD) file including information about at least one piece of trick play data; transmitting the MPD file to a client; and transmitting the at least one piece of trick play data to the client in response to a request by the client based on the MPD file.     摘要： A method and apparatus for sharing digital content and a system for sharing digital content are provided. A multimedia device, such as an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), as the apparatus for sharing digital content, includes a decoder for decoding digital content data; a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) for encoding the digital content data decoded by the decoder to have a data format which a remote device supports; and a network interface for transmitting the digital content data re-encoded by the DSP to the remote device. In the present invention, once a user subscribes for a content providing service for the IPTV, the user is able to watch digital content of the IPTV in a remote place by using the mobile phone, or the like without separately subscribing for a service for the mobile phone.
