摘要： An electrostatic recording apparatus for recording, developing and fixing an image on a sheet of recording paper, comprises an electrostatic recording head and a roller. Transport structure is located at the down stream side of the electrostatic recording head with respect to a direction of feed of the sheet of recording paper. A control rotates the roller when a leading edge of the sheet of recording paper is sandwiched between the electrostatic recording head and the roller and stops rotation of the roller during a period of time after the leading edge of the sheet of recording paper which has passed through the electrostatic recording head and the roller has started being transported by the transport structure and before the trailing edge has passed between the electrostatic recording head and the roller, the roller being rotatable in response to feeding of the sheet after the roller has ceased to be driven.

摘要： An electrostatic recording apparatus for recording, developing and fixing an image on a sheet of recording paper includes an electrostatic recording head and a roller for forming an electrostatic image on the sheet of recording paper while the latter travels between the electrostatic recording head and the roller. The electrostatic recording head and the roller are relatively movable toward each other for pressing the sheet of recording paper against the electrostatic recording head during a period of time in which the sheet of recording paper travels between the electrostatic recording head and the roller to allow the electrostatic recording head to form the electrostatic image on the sheet of recording paper. The electrostatic recording head and the roller are relatively displaceable away from each other during a period of time other than the above period of time. The roller has a first portion which rotates whenever a sheet of recording paper passes between the recording head and the roller, and a second portion which rotates only when a sheet of paper having a predetermined width passes between the recording head and the roller.

摘要： A mower unit attachable to a vehicle body includes a mower deck. The mower deck defines a grass discharge opening at an opposite side of one side wall, and has a plurality of rotary blades juxtaposed inside the mower deck to be rotatable about vertical axes. All of the rotary blades are rotatable in the same direction so that a front half, with respect to a traveling direction, of a track of rotation of each rotary blade points toward the side having the grass discharge opening. A rear baffle depends from a top board of the mower deck for enclosing the rotary blades in combination with a front wall, and surrounds, in form of a concentric part circle, a rear portion of the track of rotation of each rotary blade. A front baffle and a mulching baffle are provided to be selectively attached to the mower deck to be located forwardly of the tracks of rotation of the rotary blades. The front baffle includes curved segments each for surrounding, in form of a concentric part circle, a front portion of the track of rotation of one rotary blade, and counter curved segments for connecting the curved segments. The mulching baffle, in combination with the rear baffle, defines a mulching chamber surrounding the track of rotation of each rotary blade.

摘要： A mid-mount type lawn tractor having idle wheels disposed at one end in a fore and aft direction of a vehicle body, drive wheels disposed at the other end in the fore and aft direction of the vehicle body, a mower unit connected to the vehicle body between the idle wheels and drive wheels. The lawn tractor includes a wheel support frame supporting the idle wheels and pivotably connected to the vehicle body. A pivotal movement of the wheel support frame relative to the vehicle body displaces the idle wheels relative to the vehicle body, to produce a running posture or a jack-up posture lifting at least part of the vehicle body. The pivotal movement of the wheel support frame is caused by a jack device.

摘要： A lawn mower having a driver's section and a grass cutting unit forwardly of a vehicle body; an engine mounted between front and rear wheels; and a pair of main frames extending longitudinally of the vehicle body, each of the main frames including a front frame member, and a rear frame member connected to the front frame member and disposed at a lower level than the front frame member. The engine is mounted below the main frames between the front and rear wheels, and has a radiator disposed rearwardly of the engine and having an upper portion projecting upwardly of the rear frame members. The engine is surrounded by a first cover assembly including side covers depending respectively from the main frames, lower covers connecting the respective side covers to lower positions of the engine, and a front cover for closing an area forwardly of the engine. The first cover assembly defines first ambient air intake openings. A second cover is disposed rearwardly of the driver's section for covering the upper portion of the radiator. The second cover defines a second ambient air intake opening in a forward portion thereof. Cooling air flows produced by a fan disposed adjacent the radiator are drawn through the first and second ambient air intake openings, at least a large part of the cooling air flows being exhausted rearwardly through the radiator.

Moreover, manufacturing costs and running costs can be reduced.
