摘要： High purity alkali metal hypophosphites are produced in high efficiency by a simple step of using no other separating agents than white phosphorus, alkali metal hydroxides and water as reaction raw materials, resulting in no need of a complicated procedure for removing impurities. This process comprises reacting white phosphorus and an alkali metal hydroxide in an aqueous medium to prepare a crude solution of an alkali metal hypophosphite containing the phosphite, feeding the crude solution to a desalting compartment of an electrodialytic cell in which cation exchange membranes and univalent anion permeable membranes are alternately arranged between a cathode and an anode to form at least one pair of a desalting compartment and a concentrating compartment, so as to separate the hypophosphite from the crude solution, during which a dilute solution of an alkali hypophosphite is fed to the concentrating compartment, subjecting them to electrodialysis, withdrawing the purified solution of the alkali metal hypophosphite from the concentrating compartment and concentrating and crystallizing the the thus purified solution.

摘要： A starting apparatus including an input member coupled to a motor; a damper mechanism having an input element, an elastic body and an output element; a lock-up clutch mechanism for performing lockup where the input member is coupled to an input shaft of a transmission via the damper mechanism and for canceling lockup, and a dynamic damper including an elastic body and a mass body engaged with the elastic body. The mass body of the dynamic damper is an elastic body support member that is supported rotatably around an axis of the starting apparatus and that supports the elastic body of the damper mechanism. With this arrangement, the dynamic damper is easily adjustable while reducing the overall size of the starting apparatus.

The elastic body of the damper mechanism and the elastic body of the dynamic damper overlap each other with respect to an axial direction of the fluid transmission apparatus when viewed in a radial direction of the fluid transmission apparatus, and are arranged between the turbine runner and the centrifugal pendulum vibration absorber when viewed in the radial direction.

The cylindrical main body has flutes which are formed in the cylindrical mainbody and extend from an axially distal end portion of the cylindrical main body toward the shank, so as to provide cutting edges in the axially distal end portion of the cylindrical main body. The cutting edges cooperate with each other to define a point angle which is larger than 170° and is smaller than 180°. Each of the cutting edges is substantially straight or is curved to be convexed as seen in the direction perpendicular to the axis.
