摘要： A communication control system includes an attendance confirmation accepting unit that accepts confirmation of attendance according to an operation of an attendee to an information processing apparatus located at a conference room, a random number processor that generates a random number in case of accepting the confirmation of attendance and stores connection authentication information based on the random number in a memory, the connection authentication information being used for authenticating exchange of information with a terminal operated by the attendee at the conference, a print controller that transfers an output command for printing an image having the generated random number to an image forming apparatus, and a wireless connection controller that receives authentication information input by the terminal based on the random number via wireless communication at the conference room and authenticates the exchange of information with the terminal based on the connection authentication information stored in the memory.

摘要： Disclosed are a form template definition method and a form template definition apparatus. The form template definition method comprises a cell extraction step of analyzing an image of a form so as to extract one or more cells from the image of the form; a cell classification step of classifying the extracted cells; and a cell attribute definition step of defining attributes of the extracted cells class by class. If an attribute of a first cell in one class is defined, then other cells in the class automatically copy the attribute of the first cell. As a result, the work amount of form template definition may be dramatically reduced by employing the form template definition method and form template definition apparatus.

摘要： A language such as English or a language group such as an Asian language group is recognized based upon document image data. The document image data is processed to determine a minimal circumscribing rectangle for each character. The layout characteristics of the minimal circumscribing rectangles are quantified in a discrete number of ranges. The layout characteristic information includes a certain ratio with respect to the minimal circumscribing rectangle height and width as well as a black pixel density in the minimal circumscribing rectangle. Based upon the quantified layout characteristic information, an occurrence probability of a predetermined number of characters is determined using training data for a predetermined number of languages. The occurrence probability is stored in a table for later reference for an unknown input language.

The area information definition unit computes insertable area information on a first insertable area, usable for inserting the first interpretation information, based on coordinate data of characters in the acquired image data. The insertion style determination unit determines an insertion style of the first interpretation information based on the insertable area information.

摘要： A language conversion system converts an original sentence in a source-language into a translated sentence in a target-language. The language conversion system includes a original analysis unit for analyzing the original sentence so as to obtain an intermediate structure of the original, an idea center extraction unit for extracting an idea center from the intermediate structure obtained by the original analysis unit, the idea center being a central expression of an idea to be described by a sentence, an identification unit for identifying a sentence pattern including the idea center extracted by the idea center extraction unit, an information extraction unit for extracting information required by the sentence pattern identified by the identification unit from the intermediate structure of the original sentence, a decision unit for deciding an intermediate structure of a translated sentence based on the sentence pattern and request information extracted by the information extraction unit, and a creation unit for creating a translated sentence in a surface level from the intermediate structure decided by the decision unit.
