摘要： A parallax information detection unit detects parallax information based on a motion vector obtained resulting from motion compensation on a 3D video performed by a decoder, and converts the detected parallax information into a stereoscopic effect level. 摘要： An image system includes: a display device configured to display an image; and an eyeglasses device for viewing the image displayed by the display device, wherein the display device includes: a display portion configured to display in time series the image to be viewed through the eyeglasses device; a signal generation portion configured to generate a synchronization signal for synchronizing timing of switching of frames of the image; and a transmission portion configured to transmit the synchronization signal, the eyeglasses device includes: an optical filter portion configured to adjust an amount of light of the image; a reception portion configured to receive the synchronization signal transmitted from the transmission portion; and a control portion configured to control action of the optical filter portion corresponding to the switching of the frames of the image, based on the synchronization signal, the signal generation portion further generates a parameter signal including action information for defining an action of the optical filter portion, the transmission portion transmits the parameter signal to the reception portion, and the control portion controls the action of the optical filter portion according to the action information of the parameter signal for defining the action of the optical filter portion.

The first and second recording layers have first and second storage capacities, respectively. The data processing apparatus includes: a data storage in which the data to be written is split into, and stored separately as, first and second data, the first data having a data size that is smaller than the first storage capacity, the second data having a data size that is smaller than the second storage capacity; a communication section for getting the end address of a data recordable area of the first recording layer; a controller for adjusting the data size of the first data such that the beginning of the first data is written at the start address of the data recordable area of the first recording layer and that the end of the first data is written at the end address gotten; and an output section for outputting the first data, the data size of which size has been adjusted, and the second data.

摘要： In order to perform simultaneous recording and reproduction, a large capacity of buffer memories were required. In addition, it was difficult to record data while reproducing data which was recorded by a different apparatus. The present invention has an objective of providing an information recording medium, a simultaneous recording and reproduction method, and an information recording and reproduction apparatus which guarantee simultaneous recording and reproduction. The simultaneous recording and reproduction is guaranteed by reproducing data recorded in an area having at least a minimum size fulfilling the simultaneous recording and reproduction condition which allows for four access operations, recording data in an area having at least the same size, and performing reproduction and recording alternately by switching reproduction to recording when the data amount in the reproduction buffer becomes full and switching recording to reproduction when the data amount in the recording buffer becomes empty.
