    摘要: A fastening device for a polishing paper cloth of a portable polishing machine. The device comprises an attaching portion which can be detachably attached to a base plate of the polishing machine and a fastening device main body for winding the polishing paper cloth thereon to engage therewith. Multiple concave grooves, which are continuous in the winding direction of the polishing paper cloth in parallel, and a cavity portion formed inside are provided. Therefore, by giving flexibility to the main body to allow it to be deformed in many directions, it is possible to prevent a reaction to the operator due to oscillation of the polishing machine generated during the polishing and to improve a discharging function for the polishing waste to the outside by allowing the polishing waste generated during the polishing to easily intrude in the concave grooves. Additionally, during the polishing, the air from the outside is flown through the concave grooves so as to increase the contacts with the outside air, which enables to improve the discharge efficiency of the friction heat generated in the polishing.

    摘要: Molten resin is continuously extruded from an extrusion nozzle having a selected width, and at the same time, a plurality of parallel fiber filaments are introduced straightly toward the molten resin outlet in a direction along rotation of a die wheel and/or traversing one or more filaments by a predetermined width. The molten resin extruded from the extrusion nozzle and the filaments are introduced into a predetermined gap for molding a plate-like substrate sheet between the nozzle and the die wheel, which has a multiplicity of hook-forming cavities in its circumferential surface and is rotatable in one direction, and at the same time, the hook-forming cavities are filled with a part of the molten resin. The filaments are embedded in the substrate sheet of the extruded molten resin as the die wheel is driven to rotate in the direction of extrusion of the molten resin, and a plurality of hooks are continuously molded on a surface of the substrate sheet.

    摘要: The molding method for molded surface fastener for molding a flat substrate and a plurality of first engaging elements integrally and continously using the same molding material. According to the method, a cooling/transportation means for cooling and transporting a molded surface fastener at the same time when it is molded is driven and rotated in one direction and molten resin material is extruded continuously onto a cooling/transportation face through a resin extrusion path which extends in a width direction of an extrusion nozzle and which is open to said cooling/transportation face of said cooling/transportation means and opens in a transportation direction thereof. At this time, a plurality of the first engaging-element-molding openings spaced in the width direction of said resin extrusion path are opened and closed by means of at least a vertically vibrating member disposed on a front face of said extrusion nozzle in a resin transportation direction thereof.

    摘要: A molded surface fastener is manufactured by supplying molten resin to the circumferential surface of a die wheel rotating in one way to mold a substrate sheet blank and a multiplicity of substantially straight and inclined engaging element blanks in an integral form, and then pressing distal ends of the engaging element blanks by a heat-molding roller in rotation at the same speed to incline the engaging element blanks further toward the substrate sheet blank and also to melt the distal ends to shape each said distal end into an engaging head projecting in a direction opposite to the direction of inclination of the respective engaging element blank. Each of the resulting engaging elements is composed of a stem rising from the substrate sheet surface with inclination by a predetermined angle (.theta.1), and an engaging head projecting from an upper end of the stem in a direction opposite to the direction of inclination of the stem, an extension line of the engaging head crossing the substrate sheet surface at a predetermined acute angle (.theta.2).

The first reinforcing rib is greater in height than the second reinforcing rib. In the presence of the first and second reinforcing ribs different in height, compression stresses developed in the hook body are dispersed at two or more points when a companion engaging element is removed off the hook element.

Each of the engaging elements has a pair of stems standing from the one surface of the substrate sheet, and a pair of hooks extending in opposite directions from distal ends of the stems and formed in a pair of parallel planes perpendicular to the general plane of the substrate sheet on opposite sides of the central line of the pair of stems. When companion loops are disengaged from the engaging element, the individual hooks are angularly moved about the central line of the pair of stems in a horizontal plane independently of each other and, at the same time, are expanded upwardly. As a result, the loops and the engaging element can be disengaged from one another smoothly without any damage.
