摘要： A camera having a cartridge bay into which a film cartridge is inserted includes a cover that can be opened and closed, and that covers the opening of the cartridge bay in order to block light. A force applying device applies force to a film cartridge inserted in the cartridge bay in the direction in which the film cartridge is ejected out of the cartridge bay. A prevention member prevents the film cartridge from flying completely out of the cartridge bay due to the force applied by the force applying device, such that only a part of the film cartridge protrudes out of the camera. The prevention member operates in response to the opening of the cartridge bay cover, and when the cartridge bay cover is partially open, the prevention member is set at a position at which it prevents the film cartridge from flying out. When the cartridge bay cover is fully open, the prevention member is set at a retracted position to enable the removal of the film cartridge.

摘要： A combination apparatus incorporating a hard disk drive and an optical disc drive (audio-visual recording and reproducing apparatus) stores one or more keywords inputted as a result of user operation in a memory and monitors whether or not a closed caption signal contains any of the keywords. When the closed caption signal contains at least one of the keywords, output of images and audio corresponding to this closed caption signal and subsequent images and audio is stopped. A blue background may be outputted during stopping of outputting. The stopping of outputting may be released after a predetermined period elapses. When at least one of the keywords is contained in a closed caption signal during recording, images corresponding to the closed caption signal are subjected to mosaic processing and are recorded.

The engaging pawl of a locking arm engages the second engaging depression when the locking arm locks the ink cartridge to the head unit. Further, a pair of ribs is provided on the rear side wall of the ink cartridge. The ribs oppose each other with a prescribed interval. A corresponding protrusion protrudes from the head unit and fits into the space between the interval of the ribs when the ink cartridge is mounted in the head unit.
