    摘要： An appratus for inspecting lightness on the surface of an object having at least first and second surface portions different in lightness, wherein an image of the first and second surface portions of the object are taken under appropriate illumination, the taken image is memorized, first and second reference lightness of the first and second surface portions are defined respectively, whether or not each pixel of the taken image belongs to either one of pixel regions defining the first and second surface portions are determined in accordance with values defining preliminarily memorized pixel regions respectively, lightness difference between each pixel of the taken image corresponding to the first surface portion and the first reference lightness is calculated, lightness difference between each pixel of the taken image corresponding to the second surface portion and said second reference lightness are calculated, and quality in lightness on the surface of the object are determined on a basis of the respective lightness difference.

    摘要： A thermosensitive stencil paper contains a main component layer formed of a thermoplastic film and an ink-permeable support bonded together with adhesive, in which the ink-permeable support is a porous thin paper containing polynosic fibers as the main fibrous component. Optionally, the thermosensitive stencil paper has a plastic film layer whose surface is coated with a mold release layer containing as a main component a silicone oil having a kinematic viscosity of 500,000 cs or more. The transfer operation of the stencil paper in an automatic printer is excellent and its ink feeding performance during printing is high because of the polynosic fiber-containing porous thin paper support. Nonprinted spot defects are reduced because of the small number of bundled fibers in the stencil paper. Stencil paper containing the mold release layer are free of offsetting when rolled and cause no sticking for a long period of time, thereby providing thermosensitive stencil paper with excellent performance.

    摘要： A closed type kneader has two rotors rotatably mounted in a casing for rotation about parallel axes. Two blades extend from each of the rotors such that the blades of the rotors intermesh. Each rotor has both a main blade and an auxiliary blade. The auxiliary blade has a length not less than one-half of the length of the rotor and an angle of torsion not smaller than 0.degree. in the same direction as the angle of torsion of the main blade. The rotors are rotated in synchronism with one another so that the main blade tip of each rotor may be in phase with the auxiliary blade tip of the other rotor at the axial centers of the rotors.

    摘要： A closed mixing machine suitable for mixing rubber materials, which includes a closed mixing chamber and a pair of rotors received in the chamber for rotating in opposite directions, wheren the rotor tips' clearance and the rotor rotation speed are increased up to values greater than typical values of the conventional mixing machine. Accoridng to this arrangement, mixing productivity is increased by a maximum of 70% with the even discharge temperature and energy consumption is reduced in comparison with the conventional machine.
