    摘要: Disclosed is a method for producing surface-modified fillers by spray-drying an aqueous suspension of a filler that consists of fine particles, whereby 0.1 to 50 wt. % (calculated as dry substance), preferably 0.3 up to less than 1 wt %, of an aqueous dispersion of a thermoplastic polymer or copolymer or a caoutchouc are added. Said fillers have improved bulk material stability and improved pourability. The inventive fillers are particularly suitable as flame-retardant fillers for synthetic materials or rubber, in a cable insulation for instance.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a powder including agglomerates of hexagonal boron nitride platelets, wherein the agglomerates have an agglomerate size distribution of from about 10 to about 125 microns and the powder is substantially free of non-agglomerated platelets of boron nitride and its use in a polymer blend. The present invention also relates to a method of making a powder including agglomerates of hexagonal boron nitride platelets. This method involves providing a briquette formed from agglomerated hexagonal boron nitride platelets, crushing the briquette to produce a powder including hexagonal boron nitride agglomerates and non-agglomerated boron nitride platelets, and removing the non-agglomerated boron nitride platelets from the powder under conditions effective to produce a powder including agglomerates of hexagonal boron nitride platelets having an agglomerate size distribution of from about 10 to about 125 microns.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a fine particle layer laminated film configured in such a manner that a plurality of fine particle layers containing the fine particles, of which average particle diameters are in the range of 1 nm and 95 nm, are laminated; wherein the fine particles in the fine particle layer laminated film are accreted by polymer molecules; there are air spaces within a film of the fine particle layer laminated film; and a density of the fine particles in the fine particle layer laminated film is in the range of 40% and 80% in percentage by volume. According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a laminated film sufficiently having a property of the fine particle, for example, a property such as a low index of refraction or the like. Therefore, the present invention has an effect such that the fine particle layer laminated film according to the present invention can be preferably used for an application such as an antirelection film or the like.
