    摘要: A display includes: display pixel electrodes; common electrodes; a display layer; a display control circuit; touch detection electrodes; and a touch detection circuit detecting an external proximity object based on a detection signal obtained from the touch detection electrodes with use of a common drive voltage for display applied to the common electrode as a touch sensor drive signal. The touch detection circuit includes: a first filter allowing a fundamental detection signal, contained in the detection signal and having a frequency same as a fundamental frequency of the touch sensor drive signal, to pass therethrough, a plurality of second filters separately allowing two or more harmonic detection signals, contained in the detection signal and having frequencies same as respective harmonic frequencies of the touch sensor drive signal, to pass therethrough, and a detection section performing a detection operation based on the fundamental detection signal and the harmonic detection signals.

    摘要: A capacitance-type touch panel, allowing disturbance noise and touch detection time to be reduced and having a simple configuration, is provided. The capacitance-type touch panel including: a plurality of drive electrodes each having a strip shape; a drive control circuit performing control such that a drive signal for touch detection is selectively applied to the drive electrodes; a plurality of touch detection electrodes arranged to intersect with the drive electrodes in such a manner that capacitance is formed in each intersecting part, and each outputting a detection signal in synchronization with the drive signal; and a detection circuit detecting an external proximity object based on the detection signal. The drive control circuit controls application of the drive signal in such a manner that the detection signal is a polarity-alternating signal including a positive-negative asymmetrical signal component which is due to presence of the external proximity object.

The capacitive touch panel includes: a plurality of drive electrodes each to which a drive signal for touch detection is applied; a plurality of touch detection electrodes arranged to intersect the plurality of drive electrodes, and each outputting a detection signal synchronized with the drive signal; a first sampling circuit (A/D conversion circuits 72 and 73) extracting a first series of sampling signal including a signal component with first level and a noise component, from the detection signal; a second sampling circuit (A/D conversion circuits 75 and 76) extracting a second series of sampling signal including a signal component with second level different from the first level and the noise component, from the detection signal; a filter circuit (digital LPFs 81 and 82) performing a high range cut process on the first series of sampling signal and the second series of sampling signal; and a computation circuit (a subtraction circuit 90) determining a signal for touch detection based on an output of the filter circuit.

    摘要: An information input device includes a touch panel which is provided with a touch sensor capable of sensing a position in which a sensing target body is close to a sensing surface thereof. The touch sensor includes a scanning electrode and a detection electrode which faces and is spaced from the scanning electrode with a dielectric body being interposed therebetween, the touch sensor being configured so that electrostatic capacitance which is formed between the scanning electrode and the detection electrode is varied when the sensing target body is close to the detection electrode. The detection electrode is formed with a slit in a surface thereof which faces the scanning electrode, and a floating electrode is installed in the slit.

    摘要: An information input device includes a touch panel which is provided with a touch sensor capable of sensing a position in which a sensing target body is close to a sensing surface thereof.     摘要: The display device with high detection accuracy includes: display pixel electrodes; a common electrode; a display function layer; a display control circuit performing image display control by applying a pixel voltage to each of the display pixel electrodes and applying a common drive voltage to the common electrode, the common drive voltage inverting in synchronization with a drive cycle of the image display control; a touch detection electrode cooperating with the common electrode to form a capacitor; and a touch detection circuit detecting an external proximity object, based on a detection signal obtained from the touch detection electrode in response to the common drive voltage applied to the common electrode. The touch detection circuit corrects the detection signal based on a gray scale of the image signal at the time of acquisition of the detection signal, and performs the detection operation.
