摘要： A specific gamut of colors extending a reproduction range of colors in a color space is set to make for any ink color belonging to the specific gamut a conversion from CMYK dot pattern data into numbers of ink drops to be discharged from an inkjet head, using as a lookup table an extended pattern table having a maximal drop number ‘7’. For ink colors belonging to a gamut of colors outside the specific gamut, a default pattern table having a maximal drop number ‘5’ is used as a lookup table for the conversion from CMYK dot pattern data into ink drop numbers.

摘要： An adjustment drop number setting section 335 sets a number of adjustment drops with which a change in print density in an image occurs remarkably when an ink drop amount of one ink drop is changed for each kind of a print medium (print sheet) input from an operation panel 340 or sets uniformly regardless of the kind of print medium. When a density difference that requires adjustment is recognized visually between images by two neighboring ink heads on a density measurement chart printed by a chart printing execution section 333c, the ink drop amount of one drop in the set number of adjustment drops is adjusted by adjusting a drive voltage of the ink head of a head unit 110 according to an input from the operation panel 340.

摘要： A medium storing a program for display control. When the program is executed by a computer realized in a mobile terminal, the mobile terminal operates as follows. An area-information storing unit stores information on a first display area of an external display device and a second display area of a built-in display. A screen-data production unit acquires content to be displayed, and produces screen data corresponding to the first display area. An entire-image display unit divides the screen data into partial areas each corresponding to the second display area, adds to the entire screen data area-display data indicating the extent of each partial area and a corresponding identifier, and displays the screen data on the external display device. On receipt of an identifier, a partial-image display unit extracts a portion of the screen data for a partial area corresponding to the identifier, and displays the portion on the built-in display.

摘要： A printing apparatus is capable of printing images by ejecting ink droplets from nozzles. The printing apparatus includes: a drive signal generation unit which generates ejectable drive pulses for ejecting ink droplets based on image data indicating the number of ink droplets for each pixel, and outputs the ejectable drive pulses to the nozzles; and a temperature measuring unit which measures the temperature of the ink. The drive signal generation unit also outputs non-ejectable drive pulses to the nozzle when the ink temperature is lower than a predetermined temperature. The non-ejectable drive pulses are generated and output in order that even when the nozzle is driven by the non-ejectable drive pulses, no ink droplet is ejected. It is therefore possible to provide, without substantially increasing the production cost, the printing apparatus which can elevate the ink temperature irrespective of the print coverage when the ink temperature is low.

摘要： An inkjet printer includes an inkjet head configured to perform printing on a printing sheet by use of ink. The inkjet printer includes: a heater configured to heat the ink; a thermometer configured to measure the temperature of the ink; and a controller configured to control the amount of electric power to be supplied to the heater and to control the inkjet head. In a case where the measured value of the ink temperature measured by the thermometer is in a range of a first reference temperature inclusive to a second reference temperature exclusive, the controller calculates a coverage rate of a page to be printed, and accordingly changes the amount of electric power to be supplied to the heater depending on the coverage rate thus calculated.
