摘要： A disk recording/reproduction device according to the present invention includes: a recording medium including a disk and a protective case for the disk; loading mechanism for guiding the recording medium from a first position outside the disk recording/reproduction device in a first direction in a linear manner, then to a second position located inside the disk recording/reproduction device, and thereafter in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction to a third position, the first position allowing the recording medium to be taken out and the third position allowing information to be recorded on the recording medium; a pickup; a pickup driving mechanism for moving the pickup in parallel to a recording face of the disk; a magnetic head opposing the pickup so as to interpose the disk and moving in parallel to the disk integrally with the pickup; and head position switching mechanism for detaching the magnetic head from the disk and positioning the magnetic head in either a recordable position or a stand-by position. A position retention mechanism locates the recording medium in a fourth position between the second and third positions. The magnetic head moves to the recordable position when the recording medium is in the third position. The magnetic head and the pickup move between a position opposing the protective case and a retracted position away from the position opposing the protective case. When the recording medium is in the fourth position, the magnetic head and the pickup are moved from the position opposing the protective case to the retracted position and from the retracted position to the position opposing the protective case.

摘要： A magneto-optical recording and reproducing apparatus for recording a recording data on a magneto-optical disk through magnetic field modulation is provided with a magnetic head device for applying a recording magnetic field corresponding to a recording signal current onto the magneto-optical disk. The magnetic head means is composed of coil support means including a hollow tubular portion, coil means provided outside the hollow tubular portion of the coil support means, magnetic head means, provided within the hollow tubular portion of the coil support means so as to be capable of freely sliding, for generating the recording magnetic field by supplying the recording signal current into the coil means, and elastic support means for supporting the magnetic head means so as to place it in a stand-by position where the magnetic head means and the magneto-optical disk do not interfere with one another by a push-up force exerted on the magnetic head means in the direction moving away from the magneto-optical disk. The magnetic head means is moved toward the magneto-optical disk in a direction opposite to the push-up force exerted by the elastic support means so as to come in contact with the magneto-optical disk using an electromagnetic force generated by supplying the recording signal current into the coil means.

摘要： A cassette tape player comprises a reproduction head mounted on a subchassis, and a nonprogram section detection circuit for searching a nonprogram section provided between two adjacent programs recorded on a magnetic tape while the magnetic tape is driven to travel at a fast speed. When a fast forward lever or a fast rewind lever is locked under the condition where a playback lever is locked and the subchassis is held at a predetermined position, a switch mounted on the subchassis is switched on to power supply the nonprogram section detection circuit. That is, the cassette tape player is placed in a nonprogram section detection mode when both the playback lever, and the fast forward lever or the fast rewind lever are locked. Upon detecting the nonprogram section, a plunger is activated to unlock the fast forward lever or the fast rewind lever to return the cassette tape player to a normal playback mode.

摘要： A magnetic write/read device with use of a rotating drum system in which first and second writing heads are arranged around a rotating drum and the first and second writing heads overwrite first and second tracks on a magnetic tape so that one frame is formed by a pair of the adjacent first and second tracks, the magnetic write/read device comprises first and second reading heads arranged in the rotating drum and corresponding to the first and second writing heads, respectively and the controlling means for controlling each head in sequence so that the first track of the present frame is recorded by the first writing head and then the first and second tracks of the penultimate frame are reproduced by the first and second reading heads, and in turn the second track of the present frame is recorded by the second writing head.
