摘要: An inductive power transfer system and method for transferring power to an electrical device wirelessly. The system includes an inductive power outlet and an inductive power receiver. During operation, instruction signals are sent from the inductive power outlet to the inductive power receiver. When no instruction signals are transferred, the system is configured to deactivate such that power is drawn by the system only during operation.

摘要: An inductive power receiver provides a regulated power output to an electric load. The receiver inductively couples with an inductive power transmitter to form an inductive transfer system. A receiver-side regulator is provided to regulate the output voltage of the inductive transfer system. The regulator has a resonance-altering component and a switching unit configured to selectively connect the resonance-altering component to the reception circuit such that the amplitude of the induced voltage is controlled.

摘要: A current-triggered synchro-rectifier comprising an electronic switch configured to be in its ON setting when the current flowing through its cathode exceeds a predetermined threshold. The electronic switch may include a half-wave rectifier wired to the source terminal and the drain terminal of a MOSFET device, and a current monitor configured to monitor the drain-current flowing through the drain terminal. The current monitor sends a gate signal to the gate terminal such that the MOSFET is switched to its ON state when the drain-current exceeds a first threshold current and the MOSFET is switched to its OFF state when the drain-current falls below a second threshold current. Usefully, the synchro-rectifier may be incorporated into a full-wave rectifier.
