Abstract: A headlight using an image light source is provided, which includes a laser light source and a wavelength converter. The laser light source includes multiple light-emitting units arranged in an array to provide an image beam. The wavelength converter is arranged downstream of an optical path of the laser light source. The wavelength converter is provided with a light dot matrix with the number of rows and columns greater than or equal to 40×40 to excite a part of the image beam into an excitation beam, and an unexcited part of the image beam is mixed with the excitation beam to generate a white beam.

Abstract: A vehicle lighting system includes a light processing unit, a non-uniform projection unit, a sensing unit, a judgment unit, and an operation unit. The light processing unit is capable of changing an intensity profile of a light beam, and the judgment unit receives an image signal from the sensing unit to determine whether to change the intensity profile of the light beam according to the image signal. When the intensity profile needs to be changed in accordance with the judgment result, the operation unit calculates out a desired intensity profile and outputs a control signal containing information about the desired intensity profile to the light processing unit, and the light processing unit changes the intensity profile of the light beam according to the control signal and sends out the light beam with the desired intensity profile.

Abstract: An optical projection and image sensing apparatus including a light source, a light valve, a first lens set, a sensing module, and a beam splitter is provided. The light valve is used to convert an illumination light from the light source to an image light beam. The first lens set is used to project the image light to display an image on a screen, and the sensing module is used to sense a sensing light from the image on the screen. The beam splitter is disposed on the optical paths of the image light and the sensing light from the image on the screen. One of the sensing module and the light valve is disposed on the optical path of the sensing light passing through the beam splitter, and the other is disposed on optical path of the sensing light reflected by the beam splitter.
