摘要： A method and apparatus for updating E-book content in an E-book terminal where upon a request for update of an E-book package, the E-book terminal sends an E-book content update request message including a version of the E-book package to an E-book server, receives from the E-book server an E-book content update response message including a content-specific version list or a content-specific action list included in the version of the E-book package, determines content to be updated based on the E-book content update response message, sends the E-book server a content request message for requesting the content to be updated, and updates the E-book content by receiving content of the latest version for the requested content from the E-book server.

摘要： An apparatus and method is provided, in which when transmitting a remote User Interface (UI), a remote UI server may provide feedback effects associated with user inputs, such as vibrations and sound effects to a remote UI client. The remote UI client includes a web browser module for rendering and outputting UI data that is received from a remote UI server in response to a remote UI request, and requesting feedback processing for providing, to a user, a feedback effect defined in the received UI data; and a feedback processor for processing feedback data in response to a request of the web browser module, and providing the feedback effect to the user according to the processing results.

摘要： A method is provided for controlling access to a resource of a Remote User Interface (RUI) server in an RUI client of an RUI system. The method includes sending a request for an RUI page for controlling the resource to the RUI server and receiving the RUI page, generating a connection to a Mutual Exclusion (MUTEX) of the RUI server, which corresponds to the resource, using the received RUT page, and sending a request for MUTEX locking for restricting access to the resource to the RUI server.
