摘要： An ink-jet cartridge includes a cartridge body forming an ink reservoir, a standpipe coupled to one side of the ink reservoir, a printhead formed under an ink supply passage formed by the standpipe, through which ink from the ink reservoir is ejected onto a printing medium in a droplet shape, and a filter which covers a top portion of the standpipe. The filter is formed in a convex shape protruding toward the printhead. Ink particles and bubbles flowing from the ink reservoir to the printhead are filtered out, bubbles which may flow from the printhead to the ink reservoir, move to edges of the filter, and the ink is smoothly supplied to the printhead.

摘要： An ink cartridge includes ink chambers storing ink, a sealing member sealing the ink chambers provided with ink injection openings injecting ink into the ink chambers and air inflow openings through which the ink chambers communicate with an outside of the ink chambers, a cover member forming air inflow passageways between the air inflow openings and the outside of the ink chambers in cooperation with the sealing member and sealing the ink injection openings, an ink blocking part first blocking the ink from being discharged through the air inflow passageways in cooperation with the air inflow openings, and an ink storage part storing the ink passing through the air inflow openings and the ink blocking part to prevent the ink from being discharged through the air inflow passageways. The ink cartridge is provided with the ink blocking part and the storage part, so that suppression of ink evaporation is maximized, and the air inflow passageways maintaining a negative pressure are prevented from being clogged with flowing-back ink caused by shocks or movements of a printer during carrying of the printer or an external temperature rise, or with an inflow of minute dust and so on.

摘要： An ink cartridge for an ink jet printer is provided. The provided ink cartridge has an ink reservoir and a housing for covering the ink reservoir with a negative pressure maintenance unit therebetween, to maintain the inner pressure of the ink reservoir under a negative pressure. Since the negative pressure maintenance unit does not contact ink in the ink reservoir, the negative pressure maintenance unit does not corrode. In addition, the negative pressure maintenance unit is installed between the housing and the ink reservoir while occupying a small space, and thus improving the filling efficiency of ink in the ink reservoir.

摘要： An ink cartridge using separate magnets is provided. The ink cartridge includes an ink container, which includes first and second chambers separated by a vertical partition formed therewithin for containing ink, and a head for ejecting the ink in the ink container onto a printing medium in the form of droplets. The first chamber includes a sponge filling most of the inside of the first chamber, a filter provided on a bottom portion of the sponge, and an ink supply pipe for supplying the ink which has passed through the filter to the head. The second chamber includes a magnet float floating on the ink in the second chamber and including a first magnet in its inside, and a second magnet provided in the bottom surface of the second chamber. The ink cartridge includes a magnet sensor for detecting a magnetic flux having at least a predetermined level when the magnet float contacts the second magnet. Accordingly, the ink cartridge with separate magnets does not require a cartridge container to be formed of a transparent material. By using the separate magnets, a magnetic flux having a strength necessary for detection can be induced while preventing magnetic interference between ink containers provided for different colors.

摘要： An ink cartridge including an ink storage chamber in which ink is stored, a cover to cover the upper portion of the ink storage chamber and a head to eject ink droplets in the ink storage chamber onto a recording medium, wherein the cover includes an inner cover to cover the upper portion of the ink storage chamber and an outer cover that seals the ink storage chamber and the inner cover, and is positioned at a predetermined distance above the inner cover. Also provided are plates to form zigzag air passages by blocking a space between the inner cover and the outer cover. With the ink cartridge according to the present invention, it is possible to satisfactorily suppress the backward flow of ink contained in an ink storage chamber due to overheating of or careless treatment of the ink cartridge. Even if ink flows backward from the ink storage chamber, it is stored in an ink storage space, thus preventing the clogging of an air passage. Further, air entering the ink storage space is filtered, passing through the air passage, and additional components are not required to seal up an opening to which ink is supplied. For this reason, manufacturing costs can be reduced and a manufacturing process can be simplified.
