摘要: An electronic apparatus aimed to reduce cost, size and thickness is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a flexible circuit, a component mounted on the flexible circuit and a casing having an opening for accommodating the component. The flexible circuit is exposed from the opening when the component is not mounted in position. The flexible circuit includes, in the opening, a planar area on which the component is mounted. The component may, for example, be a battery or a nameplate.

摘要: Electronic apparatus has touch panel module, display module and flexible circuit board. Touch panel module includes touch panel, screen member protecting touch panel, and adhesive that bonds touch panel and screen member together. Display module includes first substrate, second substrate superposed on part of first substrate, and driver chip that controls operation of display module, driver chip being mounted in area of first substrate not overlapped with second substrate, on same side of first substrate as side thereof carrying second substrate. Touch panel module and display module are arrayed so that touch panel and second substrate face each other. Edge part of flexible circuit board is sandwiched between touch panel and screen member and, in plan projection, is disposed superposed on driver chip or disposed offset in direction of second substrate away from driver chip.

摘要: In recent years, a design where a microphone is not located in a position appropriately facing the oral cavity of an operator has been widely adopted from a viewpoint of convenience of miniaturization and mounting of a mobile telephone. When telephonic communication is made with such a mobile telephone, if a voice of the other party for telephonic communication is hard to hear, the operator necessarily tightly presses his/her face against a front surface of a chassis. Thus, the sensitivity and sound collecting property of the microphone are reduced. In the present invention, when a sound hole as a voice transmission path is formed in the vicinity of a manipulation section, slits are formed in the peripheries of the manipulation section and the sound hole. Hence, even in a situation in which an operator necessarily tightly presses his/her face against a front surface of a chassis, the voice transmission path is ensured to a certain extent, and thus the sound collecting property is ensured to some degree or more.

摘要: Provided is an inputting device that is disposed in an opening of a cabinet surface. The device includes an elastic sheet having an outside surface disposed on an inside surface of the cabinet including the opening and across the opening. A sliding key is fixed on the outside surface of the elastic sheet with at least a portion in the opening of said cabinet surface. The device also includes sensors to detect movement, in a horizontal direction that is substantially parallel to said cabinet surface, of the sliding key. The device also includes guides being possible to be recognized optically that are disposed on designated positions on the elastic sheet, and the sensors detect the moved direction and the amount of the horizontal movement of the sliding key by reading the movements of said guides optically.
