Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a flashing control method for a digital camera. Indices respectively corresponding to sensitivity values are firstly determined. Subsequently, main-flash intensities are respectively obtained with respect to the sensitivity values such that their target brightness values are substantially the same after exposure, thereby constructing an energy table. Further, a predetermined preflash is fired to obtain a corresponding preflash brightness value with respect to each distinct distance. Main-flash indices are then respectively obtained according to maximum main-flash intensity and the energy table with respect to the distinct distances such that the target brightness values are substantially the same after exposure, thereby constructing a preflash table. During picture capturing, the main-flash intensity is obtained according to the preflash brightness value and the preflash table.
Abstract:
A reclining apparatus is provided between a post and a seat of a chair. The reclining apparatus includes a first joint for attachment to the post, a second joint pivotally connected with the first joint for supporting the seat and a locking device for locking the second joint in one of several reclined positions relative to the casing.
Abstract:
A ring-type voltage-controlled oscillator with a good duty cycle for use in a PLL frequency synthesizer. The delay cell circuit used in the ring-type VCO comprises two first inverters, two resistance units, and a differential delay circuit. The inverters receive respective differential input signals and generate respective differential signals to resistance units. The differential delay circuit is coupled to the resistance units, generating differential output signals which are a delayed version of the differential input signals. The resistance units have a resistance value adjusted according to a resistance control voltage for controlling the strength of inverters so as to alter the time delay of the first and second differential output signals.
Abstract:
A real-time, localized and mobile matching method for proxy purchase includes the following steps: position information of several default purchasing agents is received. At least one purchase request is received from at least one client. The purchase request includes information of at least one product to be purchased and location of at least one vendor of the product to be purchased. Candidate purchasing agents, position information of which corresponds to the location of the vendor of the product to be purchased, are filtered from the default purchasing agents. The information of the candidate purchasing agents is transmitted to the client, such that a selection signal, which includes information of a selected purchasing agent selected from the candidate purchasing agents, is received from the client. The purchase request is transmitted to the selected purchasing agent through a wireless communication network.
Abstract:
A reclining apparatus includes a platform and a pivotal element pivotally connected to the platform. A positioning element is movably mounted on the pivotal element and formed with apertures in two rows so that each of the apertures is located on a different level. A locking device includes two latches and an adjusting element. A selective one of the latches can be inserted in one of the apertures in a related one of the rows. The adjusting element is connected to the latches so that the adjusting element is operable to move the latches.
Abstract:
A recliner includes a backrest, a seat, a leg and a reclining apparatus. The reclining apparatus includes a base, two ears and a rear support. The base is installed on the leg. The ears are pivotally installed on the base on one hand and pivotally connected to the seat on the other hand. The rear support includes a lower section pivotally installed on the base and formed with an ear pivotally connected to the seat and an upper section for supporting the backrest. Thus, the seat is moved backwards and downwards when the backrest is pivoted backwards.
Abstract:
A control device for use in a chair includes a casing fastened to the chair at the bottom side, a control rod pivoted to the casing, and an operating handle pivoted to the control rod and turnable between an operative position for rotation by the user to bias the control rod to further control rotation/lifting of the chair and a collapsed non-operative position to reduce space occupation of the chair for delivery.
Abstract:
A reclining apparatus is provided between a post and a seat of a chair. The reclining apparatus includes a first joint for attachment to the post, a second joint pivotally connected with the first joint for supporting the seat and a locking device for locking the second joint in one of several reclined positions relative to the casing.
Abstract:
An intelligent hand washing monitoring system identifies if a user has actually washed every parts of his/her hands and informs the user with washed parts highlighted on a display unit. An image recognition technique is used to determine if the user uses a standard hand washing procedure to wash their hands and suggests to the user which part to wash with respect to the standard hand washing procedure in real time.
Abstract:
A clock generator and generating method, and a mobile communication device using the clock generator. A clock generator comprises a first accumulator, an oscillating signal generating circuit and a frequency adjustment circuit. The oscillating signal generating circuit generates a first oscillating signal and adjusts a frequency of the first oscillating signal according to a first overflow output signal of the first accumulator. The frequency adjustment circuit generates a frequency control value according to the first oscillating signal and a reference oscillating signal. The first accumulator accumulates the frequency control value according to the first oscillating signal to generate the first overflow output signal.
