摘要: A container for storing and injecting a liquid sealant for sealing and closing a puncture hole of a pneumatic tire includes a container body for storing the sealant. An outlet for injecting the sealant to outside opens in a lid securing portion of the container body, and an outer lid member having a sealant path therethrough is connected to the lid securing portion and communicates the sealant path with an interior space of the container body through the outlet. An inner lid member is press-fitted into the outlet and maintained in a closure position for tightly closing the outlet. The inner lid member can be forced from the closure position into inside of the sealant path, by the pressure of the sealant in the container body and/or by the pressure of gas above the sealant. A connector member connects the inner lid member to the lid securing portion or the outer lid member so as to be movable from the closure position to the interior of the sealant path. The connector member limits the movement of the inner lid member toward downstream side, after it has been forced from the closure position.

As the end portion of first passage (62) provided in the jig (60) lies in a position superior to the liquid surface of sealing agent (32), the compressed air realizes rapid supply of the sealing agent (32) into a pneumatic tire without surfacing in the form of bubbles through the sealing agent (32).

摘要: The present invention controls ignition timing appropriately while an increment correction of the fuel injection amount is implemented. A control device of the invention determines a retard angle based on a difference between a prior increment factor, which is determined prior to an actual increment of the fuel injection amount in response to loading of the engine and an OTP fuel increment correction factor for determining the actual increment of the fuel injection amount. The engine load may be determined by intake air quality and rotating speed. When the increment correction is delayed for a fixed time period, the structure of the invention effectively prevents the ignition timing from being retarded excessively due to frequent knocking at the beginning of the delay time. This accordingly prevents the ignition timing from being maintained in the retarding condition to undesirably lower the power of the engine when the delay time has elapsed and an actual increment of the fuel injection amount has been executed. In the ignition timing control of the invention, an increase in retard angle immediately affects the ignition timing control while a decrease in retard angle slowly affects the ignition timing control. This allows the ignition timing to be controlled appropriately without undesirable delay.

摘要: Knocking in an engine is prevented from occurring by retarding an ignition timing. A basic ignition advance angle THB and a correction value THK for retardation of the ignition timing are computed in order that the ignition timing THF is calculated by using the formula THF=THB-THK. The knocking in the engine tends to take place, as the ignition timing advances. Determination is made as to whether the correction value THK is within a reference range AR. When such a determination is that the correction value THK is within the reference range, discrimination is made as to whether an octane number of the fuel to be supplied to the engine is less than a predetermined octane number of the fuel which is optimum for the engine. If the discriminated octane number of the fuel is less than the predetermined octane number, the ignition timing is retarded by 10 degree of a rotational angle of a crank shaft.

摘要: An ignition system for internal combustion engines wherein an ignition timing computer circuit starts the computation of an ignition timing in response to the detection of a predetermined angular position of the crankshaft of an internal combustion engine by an angular position detector, and an ignition device ignites the engine according to the computed ignition timing. A pressure detector detects variations of the pressure in the cylinders caused by the ignition of the engine and a retard-advance detector determines whether the angular position of the engine crankshaft corresponding to the maximum cylinder pressure agrees with the desired angular position. This retard-advance detector compensates the computation of ignition timing in the ignition timing computer circuit in accordance with its determination. In this way, the ignition timing of the engine is feedback controlled in such a manner that the pressure in the individual cylinders reaches a maximum value at the desired angular position of the crankshaft.

摘要: A sealing and pump-up device capable of suppressing sealing agent contained in a sealing agent container body from leaking and preventing damage to a casing body even if an operator mistakenly attempts to remove the sealing agent container body. A connection body 70 is retained to a seal opening device 60 by fitting force between first claws 94A and a leg portion 36 and between second claws 96A and the leg portion 36. An operator might conceivably mistakenly attempt to remove a liquid agent container 18 from the seal opening device 60. However, the fixing force of the screw 128 in the circular hole 122 is determined by such factors as the shape of each member so as to be weaker than the sum of the fitting force (retaining force) between the first claws 94A and the leg portion 36 and the fitting force (retaining force) between the second claws 96A and the leg portion 36. Accordingly, fixing of the screw 128 in the circular hole 122 is released if an operator attempts to remove the liquid agent container 18 from the seal opening device 60, and the sealing agent 32 contained in the liquid agent container 18 can be suppressed from leaking and damage to the casing body 16 can also be prevented.
