    摘要: A seersucker loom is arranged such that puckering warp yarns are divided to form a shed during the weaving of a seersucker. The tension of the puckering warp yarns is maintained on a level below that of the tension of the ground warp yarns. The puckering warp yarns are slackened positively at least during a slackening period from a shed closing operation to a beating-up operating of every turn of the main shaft of the seersucker loom so that the tension of the puckering warp yarns are reduced to a value which below a predetermined tension of the yarns during a period other than during the slackening period. This enables the loom to slacken portions of the puckering warp yarns near the cloth fell sufficiently during the beating-up operation so that the puckering warp yarns are satisfactorily puckered.

    摘要: A positive feed picking device for a fluid jet loom includes a yarn measuring and storing device; a main picking nozzle; a positive feed mechanism including a drive roller and a motor for driving the drive roller. The positive feed mechanism is disposed between the yarn measuring and storing device and the main picking nozzle to feed a weft yarn positively to the main picking nozzle during a picking period. The feed picking device also includes a sensor disposed on a yarn path along which the weft yarn travels for detecting the delivery of a predetermined length of the weft yarn from the yarn measuring and storing device. A motor controller for controlling the operating speed of the motor of the positive feed mechanism, and a controller for controlling the positive feed mechanism are also included in the positive feed picking device. The controller starts the positive feed mechanism at the start of picking period. The motor controller controls the motor so that the rotating speed of the motor varies according to a predetermined speed control characteristic.

    摘要: A device for mending and trimming broken warp yarn includes a yarn holder mounted on a moving member for holding a free end of a mending yarn tied to a broken warp yarn. When a warp yarn is broken during the operation of the loom, one end of a mending yarn and the broken end of the broken warp yarn extending from the warp beam are tied together, and the other end of the mending yarn is passed through a corresponding heddle and a corresponding gap between the dents of a reed, and then the loom is restarted. A signaling device generates a signal after detecting the arrival of the free end of the mending yarn which was not woven into the cloth after the loom was restarted. The free end of the mending yarn is cut off automatically from the woven cloth by a cutter in accordance with the signal from the signaling device while the loom is in operation. A controller is connected to and controls all of the elements of the mending and trimming device.

The controller then determines jet starting phases and jet ending phases respectively for the groups of subnozzles on the basis of the running characteristics of the picked weft yarn, and controls the groups of subnozzles on the basis of the jet starting phases and the jet ending phases for sequential jetting.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for automatically mending warp yarn selects broken warp yarns from among a group of the warp yarns at the time of breakage of the warp yarn. The spacings between the reed wires of a reed through which the broken warp yarn is passed or the spacings between the adjoining reed wires are then enlarged. A yarn passing member is then positioned at the reed wires through which the broken warp yarn is passed on the basis of the position of the reed wires having large spacings therebetween. The yarn passing member is then inserted into space of the reed wires through which the broken warp yarn is passed. A mending yarn tied to the broken warp yarn is then passed and guided into corresponding reed wires by the yarn passing member. In such a manner, it is possible to then set the loom to be re-started.
