摘要： When a problem occurs in a computer system, the following processing is performed. That is, a troubleshooting procedure that includes, at least, operation content and input request for system information, presented to an operator, and in which command to acquire system information related to the input request from the information source of the system information are assigned to the input request, is referenced. Furthermore, in accordance with the command, system information is collected from an information source where system information exists. Then, after those input request for system information have been removed from the troubleshooting procedure, the resultant troubleshooting procedure is presented to the operator. Thus, the workload of the operator in the troubleshooting operation can be significantly reduced, and the time until the operation is completed is shortened, making rapid troubleshooting possible.

摘要： A supporting apparatus includes a configuration-information storage unit having stored therein dependencies among devices in association with a list of the devices. When information about a device where a failure has occurred is input, a dependency among devices including the faulty device is obtained from the configuration-information storage unit. Based on the obtained dependency among devices including the faulty device and information about the faulty device, learning data with the dependency and a cause of failure being associated with each other is created. Then, based on the created learning data, a solution procedure indicative of a procedure for specifying the cause of failure is generated by using, for example, algorithm ID3.

摘要： A configuration information verification apparatus includes an alive monitoring information collecting unit for collecting alive monitoring information from a plurality of configuration items constituting a network, a logical formula creating unit for referring to configuration information that represents information about connection relationships between the configuration items and creating a logical formula with respect to each configuration item by performing an AND operation on configuration items positioned on a route leading to corresponding configuration item, and assigning a “true” value to the logical formula if the alive monitoring information indicates that the corresponding configuration item is operating normally and assigning a “false” to the logical formula if the alive monitoring information indicates that the corresponding configuration item is not operating normally; and a logical formula verifying unit for verifying, from a plurality of logical formulae, whether an inconsistent logical formula is present.

The information collection device includes: a first addition unit that adds, for each of the devices, an information collection duration required to collect information of the devices to a communication duration required to communicate with the devices; a second addition unit that adds a maximum duration among the durations by addition of the first addition unit to a predetermined time to obtain a first time; a subtraction unit that subtracts the information collection duration of each of the devices from the first time; a first setting unit that sets a time obtained by the subtraction unit as a second time that is when information collection starts at each of the devices; and an acquisition unit that acquires information obtained by the information collection that starts at the second time.

摘要： An information processing apparatus obtains, from an F-CMDB for managing CIs regarding resources and their attribute values, CIs with the type and attribute of the resource for which a rule is to be created for use at the time of comparison between CIs. From the F-CMDB for managing CIs of SRC and CIs of DST, and relations between SRC and DST together, the information processing apparatus also obtains CI pairs with SRC including any CI previously obtained and also having a relation corresponding to the determination objective of the rule. Then, the information processing apparatus subjects CIs of SRC with the same classification as that defined in a CI of DST to grouping. Then, the information processing apparatus stores a group of CIs of SRC obtained through grouping in a rule DB as a rule for the determination objective.
