    摘要: A flow control device constructed at a switch device for connecting a plurality of ring networks for exchanging data of a cell among the ring networks. A user device for transmitting a cell carrying data is connected to each ring network, and it can transmit cells within a window counter number. Such flow control device comprises a buffer monitoring unit for monitoring the number of data in an output buffer, a regulation judging unit for comparing the number of data in each buffer with a first threshold value representing state of the buffer which is in danger of overflow, with a second threshold value representing state of the buffer which is not in danger of overflow, and outputting a regulation notice when the data number is grater than the first threshold value while outputting a regulation notice when the data number is smaller than the second threshold value, and a plurality of traffic controlling units for transmitting to the respective ring network a reset cell at a first interval when no regulation notice is received or the release notice is received while transmitting a reset cell at a second interval which is longer than the first interval when the regulation notice is received.

    摘要: A packet communications network for transmitting data between nodes by the use of cell slots circulating the network includes a center node inserted in the ring network for sequentially generating, at a selected rate, first and second types of cell slots interleavingly for transmitting first and second types of data, respectively. Each cell slot has a type code for identifying either one of the first and second types, and a status code for identifying the different status of the cells. Each node detects whether the received cell is the first type or the second type. If the received cell is the first type, it is used for transmitting the connection-oriented data under MARS system. If the received cell is the second type, it is used for transmitting the connectionless data under ATMR system.

    摘要: Disclosed is a data transmission unit for use in a system wherein data to be transmitted is organized into packets which may be assigned one of four states: idle, occupied, released, or reset. Or these packets may be assigned one of three states: idle, occupied, or released, each state being able to include a reset bit. Each unit has terminals associated therewith and is assigned two windows on the number of packets it may transmit. One window is a parameter for transmitting data by using idle packets and the other is by using released packets. The unit responds to the state of a received packet, the state of the windows, and the presence or absence of transmit data to control whether the packet transmitted out of the unit is a packet from internal transforming buffers, a released packet from a released cell producing circuit, an occupied packet containing data from the unit's own terminals. A released packet contains the address of the unit which generated it and is generated when there is no data to be transmitted and an idle packet is received by the unit. Any unit can occupy a released packet with data from its terminal within the second window band, thereby increasing data throughput.

    摘要: Disclosed is a water-repellent/oil-repellent agent which is composed of a fluorine-containing polymer containing a repeating unit (A) derived from a fluorine-containing monomer having a fluoroalkyl group or a fluoroalkenyl group, and a repeating unit (B) derived from a monomer having an imide group at a weight ratio of from 10/90 to 95/5 (repeating unit (A)/repeating unit (B)). Also disclosed is a thermoplastic resin composition which is obtained by adding such a water-repellent/oil-repellent agent into a thermoplastic resin. Since the fluorine-containing polymer is improved in heat resistance, the water-repellent/oil-repellent agent is capable of imparting a wide range of thermoplastic resins with excellent water repellency and oil repellency.
