摘要： An image processing apparatus is provided which comprises an image reading section for reading an original document by causing an image reading head of the image reading section to move relative to an original document; an image recording section for recording an image on a recording medium in accordance with an image signal; a power source for supplying power to the image reading section and the image recording section; and a control device for controlling the speed of movement of the image reading head according to an operating state of the image recording section. The image processing apparatus of the invention overcomes problems associated with the use of prior art image forming apparatus, such as multi-function copying machines, that include an image reading section and an image recording section, and which require the use of large-capacity power sources for supporting the electrical loads of various components that may be operating simultaneously within the individual apparatuses.

摘要： An apparatus for executing a printing process on the basis of a print job from an external apparatus, comprises a post-processing unit which can apply post-processing for printed paper sheets using paper sheets prepared independently of the printed paper sheets; a detector for detecting in the post-processing means that the paper sheets prepared independently of the printed paper sheets are set; determination means for determining whether or not print start trigger information is attached to the print job, which indicates an instruction to start printing in response to trigger information to start printing; and print control means for, (i) when a print job designated with the post-processing by the post-processing unit is received and it is determined that the print start trigger information is attached to the received print job, delaying a process of the print job until the detector detects that the paper sheets are set, and starting execution of the print job when the detector detects that the paper sheets are set, (ii) and when a print job designated with the post-processing by the post-processing unit is received and it is determined that the print start trigger information is not attached to the received print job, starting the received print job independently of a detection by the detector.

The plurality of inspection circuits are connected in series, the control circuit is connected to an end of the series, inspection signals output from the plurality of inspection circuits are superimposed on one another in sequence into an signal and the signal is input into the control circuit, and determination is made at the control circuit as to whether each of the plurality of electronic components is connected properly or not.
