The display displays a positional relationship between the patient's heart and the device, which includes a flat screen. The distance sensor measures a distance between the device and the patient, and detects a subject to be measured on a line perpendicular to the flat screen of the display and measures the distance. The acceleration sensor measures an angle of inclination of the device when mounted on the patient's wrist. The CPU calculates a positional relationship between the patient's heart and the device based on the distance between the device and the subject to be measured, the angle of inclination of the device mounted on the patient's wrist, the length of the patient's forearm and upper arm, and a vertical distance between the patient's shoulder and heart.

    摘要: A CPU of a blood pressure information measurement device calculates blood pressure from a change in internal pressure of an air bladder used to measure the blood pressure. AI (augmentation index) and Tr (traveling time to reflected wave) are calculated from a pulse wave waveform. A path difference calculation unit of the CPU stores a correction equation to correct a pulse wave propagation distance that is stored in advance, and, by substituting the calculated blood pressure value, AI and the like into the correction equation, corrects the pulse wave propagation distance stored in advance and approximates the pulse wave propagation distance stored in advance to an actual pulse wave propagation distance. A PWV (pulse wave velocity) calculation unit calculates the PWV using the corrected distance.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a first image bearing member, a movable second image bearing member, a charging device and a voltage applying device. A toner image is transferred from the first image bearing member to the second image bearing member at a first transfer portion, and the toner image is transferred from the second image bearing member to a transfer material at a second transfer portion. The charging device is opposed to the second image bearing member at a downstream side of the second transfer portion and at an upstream side of the first transfer portion with respect to a moving direction of the second image bearing member. The voltage applying device switches a DC voltage from a first voltage to a second voltage which is opposite in polarity to the first voltage. The switching from the first voltage to the second voltage is executed at a predetermined number of transfers of the toner image from the second image bearing member to the transfer material, and the predetermined number varies depending on an image forming condition.
