摘要: A recording head includes a plurality of nozzle arrays separately provided so as to correspond to kinds of recording liquids to be discharged, a plurality of common liquid chambers from which the recording liquids are supplied to the nozzle arrays, a plurality of recording-liquid introducing passages communicating with the common liquid chambers, and a plurality of filters provided in the recording-liquid introducing passages. Upstream aperture areas of the filters are equal to each other, and downstream aperture areas of the filters are different according to the kinds of recording liquids passing through the filters.

摘要: An ink jet recording head includes an element substrate; a plurality of ejection outlets, provided on the element substrate, for ejecting ink in a direction perpendicular to the element substrate; and a nozzle formation member having a plurality of ink flow paths which are in fluid communication with the ejection outlets, respectively. The ink flow paths are arranged at a density higher than 1200 dpi in an arranging direction of the ejection outlets and widths of flow passage walls forming the ink flow paths are smaller than heights of the ink flow paths and are smaller than widths of the ink flow paths.

摘要: In a flexible wiring board for use in, for example, a liquid discharge head, wires disposed on a substrate in parallel are covered with a film material. The flexible wiring board is bendable towards one of a front surface side and a back surface side of the substrate and includes a bending line. The bending line is formed by bending the flexible wiring board along a bending direction crossing a longitudinal direction of the wires. The bending line contains the wires. Both ends of the flexible wiring board in the bending direction are located on the bending line. A distance between one of the wires located closest to one end of the flexible wiring board and the one end is larger on the bending line than in another part of the flexible wiring board. Accordingly, even if the flexible wiring board is bent at a small bend radius, peeling does not easily occur between a base film and a cover film.

The planar region is disposed parallel to the rotational center. Among the plurality of connection terminals, the connection terminal disposed closer to the rotational center is longer in a direction perpendicular to the rotational center and parallel to the planar region than the connection terminal disposed more distant from the rotational center.

摘要: The present invention provides a liquid ejection head for which the peeling of an orifice plate from a substrate seldom occurs, even in a structure such that the walls that define each energy application chamber are narrowed toward a ejection port. The walls that define a first pressure chamber are inclined inward within the first pressure chamber, so that the first pressure chamber is narrowed, toward an ejection port, along a direction perpendicular to the heater formation face on which heaters are arranged. Further, the walls that define each ink flow path are inclined in the ink ejection direction. Furthermore, the angle at which the walls that define the ink flow path are inclined relative to the ink ejection direction is smaller than the angle at which the walls that define the first pressure chamber are inclined inward, within the first pressure chamber.
