摘要: Within a short-distance wireless transmitting apparatus for use of TV, for transmitting video without interruption and with low power consumption, a transmitter portion having a reception frequency differing from a transmission frequency is provided on a station side having a video source, and a receiver portion for receiving the frequency corresponding to a reception frequency band of the station side and also a transmitter portion for transmitting the frequency corresponding to a reception frequency band of the station side are provided on a panel side for displaying, in the structure thereof, wherein transmission/reception can be operated, simultaneously, by FDD separating in frequency for transmission.The frequency of the transmitter on the panel side is determined upon basis of a scan result, while scanning a vacant frequency on the station side, and thereby enabling to escape from an interference from other system, when the panel executes the transmission, in the structure thereof.

摘要: In a receiving apparatus equipped with a plurality of tuners, if a reception antenna is controlled in such a manner that a reception condition of a channel tuned by one tuner may become suitable, then a reception condition of the channel tuned by another tuner does not always become suitable. The receiving apparatus is provided with an antenna control unit which controls a reception antenna whose reception condition can be set, a first receiving unit, a second receiving unit, and a storage unit which stores thereinto tuning information such as a tuning channel, signal quality information, and a reception antenna setting condition. The receiving apparatus calculates a setting condition of the reception antenna capable of obtaining suitable receiving conditions in both the first and second receiving units by employing tuning information in a first channel and tuning information in a second channel.

摘要: A single common primary demodulation circuit receives either a terrestrial broadcast or a CATV broadcast. When a CATV broadcast is received, a distribution circuit supplies the input radio frequency to both a primary channel selection circuit and a secondary channel selection circuit for FDC. The distributed signal inputs are demodulated by the primary demodulation circuit and a secondary demodulation circuit, respectively. When a terrestrial broadcast is received, the input radio frequency signal is directly input to the primary channel selection circuit without being passed through the distribution circuit and demodulated by the primary demodulation circuit, thus avoiding signal reduction caused by the distribution circuit.

In that instance, a number of times of controlling the setup of receiving antenna is determined to be a number of combinations of the setups of receiving antenna, and thereby shortening the time necessary for the setup of the receiving antenna and the time necessary for channel preset.

摘要: There is provided a single receiver that can receive both of a terrestrial broadcast and a CATV broadcast, and output uplink data to the CATV broadcast. For example, the receiver includes a selector that selects one of the terrestrial broadcast signal input and the CATV signal. The receiver further includes a controller that branches or splits a CATV signal input from a CATV network through a CATV I/O terminal, or outputs the signal to the CATV network through the CATV I/O terminal, regardless of the signal selected by the selector.

摘要: The present invention provides a method for providing an optimal wireless communication method according to a change in a wireless communication environment. When the reception status is degraded while an HD stream signal, which uses a first wireless method, is transmitted and received, the method scans channels for which radar wave monitoring is not required and switches the transmission/reception to a second wireless method using free channel A. The method further scans channels for which radar wave monitoring is required and, if free channel B has a bandwidth wider than that of channel A is found, monitors channel B and if channel B is not used by a radar wave, switches the channel from channel A to channel B.
