摘要： A computer-implemented method for managing medical equipment includes presenting, at a display of a mobile computing device associated with an inspector, an inspection user interface configured to capture one or more user inputs from the inspector, receiving inspection account information via the one or more user inputs, receiving a location of the mobile computing device, providing, at the inspection user interface, identification information for transported medical equipment that is associated with the inspection account information, receiving status information for the transported medical equipment via the one or more user inputs, receiving, at a remote medical equipment database, location information for the transported medical equipment, and updating a maintenance report for the transported medical equipment by storing an inspection information entry in the maintenance report. The inspection information entry includes a time stamp, the location information, the received status information, and the location of the mobile computing device.

摘要： A computer-implemented method for managing medical equipment is described that includes providing a medical equipment management software application. The method includes presenting, at an output device of a computing device, an user interface configured to capture user inputs, receiving inspection account information via the one or more user inputs, receiving a location of the computing device, providing, at the output device, identification information for at least one item of medical equipment that is associated with the inspection account information, receiving status information for the at least one item of medical equipment, and updating previously stored status information for the at least one item of medical equipment with the received status information and the location of the computing device. The status information may include inspection information and the location of the computing device may be a location of a mobile device associated with an equipment inspector during an equipment inspection.

The medical equipment management system includes a database including software for a plurality of external defibrillators, the software including at least one of new software and updated software and a computer located remotely from the plurality of external defibrillators and configured to be communicatively coupled to the plurality of external defibrillators and to receive a login request from a administrator, based on the login request, determine, from amongst the plurality of external defibrillators in the database, a set of external defibrillators associated with the administrator, determine whether the software stored in the database is relevant to the set of external defibrillators associated with the administrator, and send the relevant software to the set of external defibrillators associated with the administrator.
