    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for DBNG-UP redundancy. The method includes: configuring a redundancy group instance on a DBNG-CP, wherein redundancy group members managed by the DBNG-CP at least include a first DBNG-UP and a second DBNG-UP; and performing, by the DBNG-CP, UP redundancy capability negotiation with the first DBNG-UP and the second DBNG-UP respectively, to complete active/standby election between the first DBNG-UP and the second DBNG-UP. In the present disclosure, a DBNG-CP performs UP redundancy capability negotiation with DBNG-UPs managed by the DBNG-CP, so as to complete active/standby election of the DBNG-UP, thereby solving the problem of UP redundancy capability negotiation, and increasing the flexibility of DBNG-UP redundancy protection.

The method includes that: a bridging data forwarding domain configured to forward a service between service nodes is established for the service nodes in a service node pool group, wherein when a service node fails, a next hop of a service router of the service node which has failed directs to the bridging data forwarding domain; and a user service is forwarded, by the bridging data forwarding domain, for a failed service node, which has failed, in the service node pool group. By means of the present disclosure, the problems in the related art are solved, thereby achieving the effects of flexibly forwarding service traffics between service nodes and greatly improving the migration processing efficiency.

The method comprises: processing fields in an IPv6 message header according to fields in a Bit Indexed Explicit Replication (BIER) message header by using at least one of the following manners: the BIER message header is taken as a type of a Routing extension header of the IPv6 message header, and a Segments Left field in the IPv6 message header is processed according to a predefined manner; the BIER message header is taken as a type of other extension headers of the IPv6 message header, wherein the types of the other extension headers include a new option as a Hop-by-Hop extension header; a Bit-Forwarding Router Prefix (BFR-Prefix) of the BIER message header is filled in a Source Address (SA) field of the IPv6 message header; and a Bit Index Forwarding Table Index (BIFT-ID) field in the BIER message header is embedded into a target field of the IPv6 message header. The method solves the problems in the related art such as optimization cannot be effectively achieved in a process of combined encapsulation of a BIER message and an IPv6 message.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for keeping alive an L2TP tunnel state are provided, where the method includes: an active device and an opposite-end device establish an L2TP tunnel, the active device transmits to a standby device an interactive L2TP control message between the active device and the opposite-end device, and the active device performs corresponding processing on the L2TP control message only after having received a response about having stored the L2TP control message sent by the standby device; and when active-standby switching occurs between the active device and the standby device, the standby device connects to the opposite-end device via the L2TP tunnel, and performs corresponding processing according to the L2TP control message which has already been stored. Control messages of an active and standby device and an opposite-end device of the disclosure always keep synchronous, ensuring that when the active device has failed, after switching between the active and standby device, the standby device and the opposite-end device can work normally, which will not cause discarding of the message, and ensuring the normal working state.
