摘要: A power converter topology operates as a switching capacitor (capacitive voltage divider) converter during a first, preferably short portion of a switching cycle to provide excellent dynamic transient response and as a pulse width modulated converter during a second portion of a switching cycle to provide flexibility of voltage regulation and generality of application. This topology can be made self-driven and is capable of zero voltage switching. Therefore the power converter can be used as one of a plurality of branches of a multi-phase converter to enhance transient response. The respective branches can also be independently optimized for particular load levels and can be operated independently in a phase shedding manner to improve efficiency at low load. Further, the power converter or respective branches of a multi-phase power converter are compatible with non-linear control to further improve dynamic response.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for the preparation of hydrogen suitable for civil applications, in which metal aluminum is mainly used for producing hydrogen. Water is added into a collection of reactants formed by placing an alkaline substance and metal aluminum together. The portion of said alkaline substance or its reaction product with water, wherein participates in the mass-transferring contact with said metal aluminum, has an effective molar ratio of less than 0.8 with respect to said metal aluminum. The water is added slowly into the collection of reactants; during the reaction, residual reactive but as yet unreacted water has a molar ratio of less than 1 but greater than 0 with respect to the metal aluminum added initially. Also disclosed is a device for the preparation of hydrogen, and a composition.

摘要: A system and methodology providing typed event and notification services is described. In one embodiment a method for transmitting an event message from a first application to at least one second application over an event channel comprises: generating a message request based on an event at a first application, the message request having a header and a body, the body containing typed event data marshaled for transmission over an event channel; sending the message request to the event channel; in response, reading the header to obtain information about the event without un-marshaling the body; creating a wrapper based, at least in part, on the information obtained from the header; appending the body to the wrapper to create an event message; determining at least one second application to receive the event message; and delivering the event message to the at least one second application.

摘要: A method for managing storage for a desktop pool is described. The desktop pool includes a plurality of virtual machines (VMs), each VM having at least one virtual disk represented as a virtual disk image file on one of a plurality of datastores associated with the desktop pool. To identify a target datastore for a VM, a weight of each datastore is calculated. The weight may be a function of a virtual capacity of the datastore and the sum of maximum sizes of all the virtual disk image files on the datastore. The virtual capacity is a product of the data storage capacity of the datastore and an overcommit factor assigned to the datastore. The target datastore is selected as the datastore having the highest weight. The VM may is moved to or created on the target datastore.

摘要: The present invention discloses a hydrogen generating composition, reactor, device and hydrogen production method. The composition includes sodium borohydride and a filler. The filler is a substance having a chemical stability and a water solubility of less than 10 g per 100 g of water under an alkaline or neutral condition at a temperature of 130° C. to 140° C. The filler has a bulk volume of 0.02˜16 times the bulk volume of the sodium borohydride. A mass ratio between the filler and the sodium borohydride is less than or equal to 2:1. The filler has a bulk density of less than 16 and has a mean particle size smaller than that of the sodium borohydride. The present invention has a high hydrogen production density, adequate reaction, lower cost and is environmentally friendly, practical and simple to pause and restart.
