The perpendicular magnetic recording stack includes a substrate, one or more magnetic granular recording layers, and a dual continuous layer having first and second continuous layers. The first continuous layer, disposed between the second continuous layer and the magnetic granular recording layers, has an intermediate lateral exchange coupling, which is higher than the lateral exchange coupling of the magnetic granular layers. The second continuous layer has a higher lateral exchange coupling than the first continuous layer.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a set of biomarkers, microarrays that provide for detection thereof, an expression signature comprising 16 genes or a subset thereof, and the use thereof in determining the regulation status of IL-6/STAT3 signaling pathway in a cell sample or subject, as well as compositions for the detection thereof. The regulation status of IL-6/STAT3 signaling pathway in a cell sample or subject may be assayed based on the level of expression of one or more of these genes. The methods and compositions provided herein may be used to evaluate IL-6/STAT3 pathway regulation status in a sample; classify a cell sample as having a deregulated or regulated IL-6/STAT3 signaling pathway; determine whether an agent modulates the IL-6/STAT3 signaling pathway; predict the response of a subject to an agent that modulates the IL-6/STAT3 signaling pathway; assign treatment to a subject; and/or evaluate the pharmacodynamic effects of therapies designed to regulate IL-6/STAT3 pathway signaling. Expression of the biomarkers is preferably determined by RT-PCR using SYBR Green methods, and the expression data analyzed and compared to a control sample by use of the random forest method.

    摘要: Dominant color names may be extracted from an image by analyzing spatial-context of pixels contained in the image. A dominant color region may be defined by taking a double-threshold approach that addresses ambiguous color regions and a degree of confidence that each pixel belongs in the dominant color region. Affiliation maps and binary maps may be used to generate the dominant color region. Images may be converted to a saliency map, from which a region of interest may be assigned a dominant color name. Image search results may be filtered by the dominant color name associated with the image.

    摘要: Methods are disclosed for finding images from a large corpus of images that at least partially match a query image. The present method makes use of feature detectors to bundle features into local groups or bundles. These bundled features are repeatable and much more discriminative than an individual SIFT feature. Equally importantly, the bundled features provide a flexible representation that allows simple and robust geometric constraints to be efficiently enforced when querying the index.
