摘要: The present invention discloses a method of transmitting a notification indicator of multimedia broadcast/multicast services in wideband code-division multiple access, the method including: a step of extracting notification indicator information by a radio network controller from a notification message of the multimedia broadcast/multicast services; a step of transmitting the notification indicator information to physical layer and building a notification indicator channel frame via a frame protocol layer; and a step of transmitting the notification indicator channel frame to user terminals via a physical channel. According to the method of transmitting a notification indicator of the present invention, user terminals can accurately read the notification indicator within the time length of one frame, so that the false alarm ratio and transmission power of the notification indicator are reduced.

摘要: The present invention proposes a new method, a network device, and a terminal device of paging a terminal device in a communication system. The receiving a paging initiation present invention determines the paged object based on the group ID and/or the device ID of the paged terminal device, further, defines a specific paging occasion for the terminal device having group function; at the specific paging occasion paging message comprising the group ID and/or the device ID of the paged terminal device is sent; further, paging reason is inserted into the paging message; wherein the terminal device receives the paging message at the specific paging occasion defined by the system; and further reads the paging reason and responds accordingly to complete the paging procedure after the group ID and/or the device ID of its own is read. This paging mechanism of this invention solves the problem of paging determining a paging a group of terminal devices. It can meet the requirement of paging a specific or a group of terminal devices. The paging efficiency is thereby improved, and no negative impact on the paging of the current network terminal device is introduced.

摘要: A method and apparatus of content transmission based on multimedia broadcast/multicast service (MBMS) in a machine type communication (MTC). A BM-SC receives a session start time from a MTC server; sends to a plurality of MTC devices a service announcement including the session start time; begins to establish MBMS bearers to the plurality of MTC devices when the session start time is reached; and transmits MTC service content from the MTC server to the plurality of MTC devices via the MBMS bearers. A MTC device receives a service announcement including a session start time therein; when the session start time is reached, wakes up to receive a notification about the MBMS bearers; and then receives MTC service contents transmitted via the MBMS bearers.
