Abstract: A clog resistant in-line irrigation emitter or nozzle assembly having an emitter structure designed to be inserted into an extruded tube as part of a drip irrigation system. The nozzle assemblies take the high pressure and flow inside the tube and produce a desired flowrate (selectable depending on the requirements of the environment). The emitter of the present disclosure has a higher efficiency than traditional pivot or sprinkler systems or known emitter devices. The emitters not only provide the appropriate pressure attenuation; they resist clogging from the grit and debris in available ground water. The clog resistant in-line irrigation emitter gives a greater pressure attenuation for its physical dimensions than comparable devices and provides an optimal design of a pressure compensating device that improves diaphragm performance. The instant disclosure does allow for the pressure compensation device to be used with various embodiments of a pressure reducing components.

Abstract: A fluidic oscillator insert is designed to project a full circumference spray pattern from a single outlet that is characterized by slightly convex or outwardly curving radius and a combination of full and partial protrusions immediately in front of the outlet, in combination with curved walls defining the throat of the outlet (and even outer surfaces of the housing), surprisingly produces full circumference, oscillating spray pattern. Further aspects of the invention include a system and a double exit insert, both of which also produce full circumference oscillating spray patterns.

Abstract: Provided is a dual spray nozzle tip assembly having a geometry that is split into several sub components to enable robust manufacturing and assembly of the resulting nozzle. The nozzle tip assembly is configured to be attached to a device configured to provide a pressurized fluid and gas therefrom. The nozzle tip assembly comprising an elongated body defining a fluid lumen and at least one gas lumen between a distal end and a proximal end. The elongated body including at least an attachment profile, a straight portion, and an outlet region. The outlet region defines a shear nozzle in communication with the fluid lumen and at least one gas outlet in communication with the at least one gas lumen, the outlet region is configured to direct pressurized gas from the at least one gas outlet and to produce a desired spray pattern from the shear nozzle.

Abstract: An alignable conformal, cup-shaped flag-mushroom fluidic nozzle assembly is engineered to generate a flat fan or sheet oscillating spray of viscous fluid product 316. The nozzle assembly includes a cylindrical flag mushroom fluidic cup member 180 having a substantially closed distal end wall with a centrally located snout defined therein. The flag mushroom cup assembly effectively splits the operating features of the fluidic circuit between a lower or proximal portion formed in the housing's sealing post member and an upper, or distal portion formed in cup member 180 which, in cooperation with the sealing post's distal surface, defines an interaction chamber 192 fed by impinging jets each comprising a continuous distribution of streamlines that impinge at selected angles to define arcs providing a lesser degree of impingement at a centered axial plane within the exit orifice 194 and a greater degree of impingement at the edges of exit orifice 194.

Optionally, an outlet “A” can be positioned in the interaction region and allow for air entrainment into the interaction region or external oscillating spray streams to generate a foamed spray of fluid product.

Abstract: An external lens washing system has an aiming fixture configured to support and constrain an external lens which is exposed to the elements and apt to become soiled with debris. A nozzle assembly is configured to be supported and aimed toward the external lens by the aiming fixture and has at least one laterally offset washing nozzle projecting from the aiming fixture to a spray washing fluid toward the external lens surface, spraying at a shallow, glancing spray aiming angle to impinge upon and wash the lens external surface. Optionally, an integrated image sensor and lens washing assembly is configured for use with a remote control method for cleaning an exterior objective lens surface and includes a sealed image sensor housing assembly including an integral, remotely controllable lens cleaning system with an optimized configuration for aiming one or more cleansing sprays from one or more laterally offset fluidic oscillators.

Abstract: A fluidic circuit configured to spray an oscillating pattern of fluid droplets, having an inlet in fluid communication with a source and including a power nozzle with an oscillation chamber having a fluid jet steering section in fluid communication with the power nozzle and having either (a) a first fluid pressure accumulating volume opposite a second fluid pressure accumulating volume or (b) a first fluid jet attachment feature opposing a second fluid jet attachment feature. The fluid jet steering section is in fluid communication with and emits a fluid jet into an oscillation inducing interaction region with opposing first and second side wall ears or features which define an oscillation inducing interaction region in the oscillation chamber for causing the jet of fluid to rhythmically sweep back and forth between the sidewalls in the oscillation chamber and create a distally projecting oscillating spray.
