The base is adapted to be joined to a wall of a container, and defines an opening. The chute communicates with the opening. The chute has a first end at least partially surrounding the opening and a second end spaced from the first end. The closure is positioned to close the chute. The tear line defines a seal of the closure. The tear line is adapted to be broken readily, without relative rotation between the closure and the chute of the spout about an axis generally perpendicular to the base, to open the spout. The base, spout, closure, and tear line can be injection molded as one integrally formed piece.
