摘要: A method and system according to embodiments enable generalized program to program interoperability. The method and system employ an automatic or substantially automatic transform adapter for using a given exchange standard for two-way communication with a program. In order for the adapter to employ the exchange standard, a discovery manager may learn the program's data communications structure and/or format, and may learn data meaning information from the program. An adapter creator may derive a transform which converts the program's data communications structure and data meaning into the exchange standard. The transform may be used by the adapter to enable two-way communication with any adapter and/or program similarly employing the given exchange standard to achieve interoperability.

摘要: An embodiment relates to a scalable computer arrangement and method, which enables the accessing of certain stored information by utilizing algorithms. The validity of the algorithms and/or retrieved data are determined by a validity management module. If the algorithm and/or the retrieved data is determined by the validity management module to be invalid, the algorithm and/or the retrieved data may be updated, whereby self correction occurs dynamically over time with changing stored information. In another embodiment, the computer arrangement and method enables networked computer systems each including a standardized database access system having hyper objects employing embedded algorithms or rules for accessing information across the network in a standardized manner, even though the networked computer system databases may employ different schema and formats. Each computer system operates independently, and yet is able to dynamically self correct when invalid algorithms or data is determined. New computer systems can be added or removed to the network without requiring adjustments to its database schema or formats and without synchronizing with the existing networked computer systems.

摘要: A multiple user computerized clinical care system and method of using it, include the use of a group of terminals communicating with a central computer system for sending and receiving patient information for storage and retrieval purposes. The system and method includes managing patient information variance requests, by storing the variance information in the order in which the variance requests are received. The terminals are then supplied with the stored variance information to enable the terminals of the computer system to receive current updated patient information for a given patient substantially concurrently as the updated information is being entered at a plurality of the terminals, without causing any user to wait for the current variance information.

摘要: One embodiment of the present invention relates to a technique for accessing data from a database. The technique may include providing a group of hyper objects each containing a different rule. When a hyper object query language (HOQL) query is received using an HOQL engine, at least one hyper object is selected using the HOQL engine in response to the HOQL query, A data request is sent via the selected hyper object to retrieve data from the database, to be received from the database to be used by the selected hyper object. The requested data is used according to the rule associated with the selected hyper object to provide a desired standardized output.
