Abstract:
A spinning head comprises a feed channel for feeding material to be extruded, a distribution chamber, and an extrusion surface having a plurality of extrusion holes, wherein the distribution chamber comprises a lower surface and an upper surface opposite said lower surface, wherein the distance between the upper surface and the lower surface of the distribution chamber is reduced. The distance reduction may be a substantially continuous reduction or a discontinuous reduction in which, in the upper surface, a plurality of first portions substantially parallel to the lower surface alternate with a plurality of second portions inclined with respect to the lower surface.

Abstract:
In an apparatus for the production of a non-woven fabric of filaments, where a plurality of filaments are extruded, cooled, stretched and collected on a mobile support, the means of collecting the filaments include furthermore, a gas permeable mobile support element (28), an aspirator (29) and one or more aspiration ducts (33C-36C), the collecting means being insulated from the environment air.
Abstract:
In an apparatus for the production of a non-woven fabric, a plurality of filaments (11) are extruded by a spinneret (2) into at least two groups spaced from each other to define an area of the cooling chamber without filaments and structures; the filaments are cooled by an air flow (Y) conveyed into the cooling chamber directed towards an intermediate area between said two groups of filaments, said area being located below an area of the spinneret without extrusion holes.

Abstract:
A process for producing a nonwoven fabric comprises the steps of a spinneret extruding a plurality of filaments, cooling the filaments with one or more cooling elements arranged below the spinneret, drawing the filaments in a drawing duct and laying the filaments on a movable support to form a nonwoven fabric. The process further comprises suctioning gas in a first suction device, heating the nonwoven fabric using a heated calender downstream of the first suction device to consolidate the filaments of the nonwoven fabric and to cause an increase in volume of the nonwoven fabric, suctioning gas below the movable support with a higher second suction speed, in a second suction device downstream of the heated calender, and suctioning gas below the movable support in a third suction region with a third suction speed lower than the second suction speed, by a shutter with one or more adjustable openings.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for producing a nonwoven fabric, comprising the steps of:
(a) extruding a plurality of filaments from a spinneret; (b) depositing said filaments in a substantially not-crimped condition to make a nonwoven fabric on an element collecting the filaments; (c) heating said nonwoven fabric to crimp at least part of the filaments, so that the volume of said nonwoven fabric is increased; (d) bonding said nonwoven fabric;
wherein said filaments are at least bicomponent filaments.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to equipment/apparatus, and the relative method/process, for the treatment of synthetic filaments, in particular for drawing said filaments, comprising at least two nozzles each provided with a main passage, through which said yarns pass, having a section variable between an inlet portion and an outlet portion and into which at least one supply channel opens to supply a fluid according to a preferential direction. Advantageously, the nozzles are provided in line and the sections of the main passage of the second nozzle have an area at least 3% larger than the corresponding sections of the main passage of the first nozzle.
Abstract:
Provided is a process for producing a nonwoven fabric. The process includes extruding a plurality of filaments from a spinneret, the filaments being at least bicomponent filaments; depositing the filaments to form a nonwoven fabric on an element collecting the filaments; performing a bonding of the nonwoven fabric; increasing the thickness of the nonwoven fabric by crimping at least part of the filaments by heating the nonwoven fabric; and, preferably performing a setting of the nonwoven fabric, wherein the bonding and the increasing the thickness steps are performed substantially simultaneously by means of a heated calendar. Also provided is the nonwoven fabric formed using the process and an apparatus for carrying out the process.
