    Abstract: An X-ray inspection apparatus includes a conveying unit configured to convey an article, an irradiation unit configured to irradiate the article conveyed by the conveying unit with X-rays, a sensor unit in which detecting elements are arranged in a planar shape, an image generation unit configured to read detection results output from at least some of the detecting elements and generate an image, and a mode switching unit configured to switch an operation mode between a first mode in which a first electric power is supplied to the irradiation unit and a second mode in which a second electric power less than the first electric power is supplied to the irradiation unit, where the mode switching unit changes, when switching the operation mode from the first mode to the second mode, a read frequency at which the image generation unit reads the detection results.

    Abstract: A combination weighing device includes: a storage unit that stores time-series measurement values sequentially acquired by the measurement hoppers; a time measurement unit that measures an elapsed time from a timing corresponding to supply of the products to the measurement hoppers until a timing at which the time-series measurement values enter a region considered to be stabilized when the time-series measurement values stored in the storage unit converge to the region considered to be stabilized as a stabilization time until the measurement values become stabilized; and a selection unit that acquires the stabilization times by the time measurement unit over a plurality of cycles and can select a recommended stabilization time that is the stabilization time in which a predetermined measurement accuracy can be maintained based on a standard deviation of the acquired stabilization times for the plurality of cycles.

    An article conveyance device 110 includes an article discharge container 10, an article conveyance mechanism 30, an article detection mechanism 60, and a control unit 90. The container 10 has outlets 20 to discharge articles A. The article conveyance mechanism 30 has feeders 40 including a first feeder 41 to an n-th feeder 4n configured to convey the articles A. The article detection mechanism 60 has sensors 70 including a first sensor 71 to an n-th sensor 7n configured to detect the articles A in the first feeder 41 to the n-th feeder 4n, respectively. The control unit 90 judges whether jamming of the articles A is occurring in the outlets 20 based on output of the article detection mechanism 60. The control unit 90 increases a conveyance intensity of some feeders receiving the articles A from places where the jamming is occurring in the outlets 20.

    Abstract: A bag-making and packaging apparatus includes a bag-making and packaging unit, a film feeding unit, a splicing device, and a control unit. The control unit allows a bag-making operation to continue by utilizing an auto-feeding function that feeds to the bag-making and packaging unit a film F spliced by the splicing device to take the place of a film F currently being fed to the bag-making and packaging unit. When the control unit judges that at least one of the film feeding unit and the splicing device is malfunctioning in a case where the control unit is utilizing the auto-feeding function, the control unit stops the auto-feeding function and executes a non-auto-feeding mode. The non-auto-feeding mode allows the bag-making operation to be continued by the bag-making and packaging unit and a film roll holding unit that is operable among plural film roll holding units.
