摘要: A patient limb positioning apparatus comprises a movement assembly operating on a coupling bracket which can be engaged with the patient's limb, to move the limb according to a plurality of axes of movement. The movement assembly comprises, for at least one of said axes of movement, a drive unit which can be activated to move the coupling bracket according to a predetermined direction of movement. A load transducer detects a load transmitted between the coupling bracket and the drive unit in the respective direction of movement, to emit a signal representative of a detected load value. An electronic control unit is selectively switchable to a load control command mode and is suitable to cyclically compare the measured load value with a pre-set load value, to control activation of the drive unit when the detected load value differs from the pre-set load value.

The acetabular unit and the iliac unit assume a first mutual position incompatible with the bridge. When osteotomy is carried out and the bridge is connected to the acetabular unit and the iliac unit, they assume a second position, different from the first position and corresponding to a bio-mechanically correct position of the acetabulum with respect to the remaining portion of the iliac bone.-

摘要: A surgical tool for positioning a surgical device includes a gripping portion; a rod protruding from the gripping portion; and a coupling system. The coupling system comprises an axial retention assembly comprising, at a free end of the rod, two opposite semispherical portions, wherein respective flat surfaces are separated from each other by an axial notch made partially along the rod, and a central clutch movable between a locking position and a disengagement position. In the locking position, the central clutch approaches the free end of the rod and is interposed between the two semispherical portions, preventing reciprocal approach thereof so as to block the two semispherical portions within a seat of said surgical device. In the disengagement position, the central clutch moves away from the free end such that the two semispherical portions can approach to allow the tool to come out of the surgical device.

摘要: A surgical device for arthroscopy includes an insertion arm having a folded contact end, a handle connected to a connection end of the insertion arm, opposite to the folded contact end, and extending transversely to the insertion arm, and a retrieval element connected to the insertion arm and mobile along the insertion arm between a retracted position and an extracted position in which it intercepts a leading end of a suture thread at the folded contact end, and mobile between the extracted position and the retracted position in which it holds the leading end. The retrieval element is a basket made of flexible material defining a containment volume for receiving said leading end of the suture thread. The containment volume is configured to expand in the transition between the retracted position and the extracted position and to shrink in the transition between the extracted position and the retracted position.

摘要: A disposable guide device for spinal surgery comprises two tubular guide bodies extending along respective main axes between a proximal end and a distal end to guide a surgical operation on a vertebra of a patient, a plurality of support feet projecting laterally relative to each guide body, near said proximal end, each defining a contact area configured to abut on a side of the spinous process or on a lamina or facet or transverse process of the vertebra of the patient, in a mating configuration, at least one junction element extending between the guide bodies, starting from the respective distal ends, in order to space them from each other, wherein the guide bodies are oriented so that the proximal ends are more distant from each other with respect to the distal ends.

摘要: A patient-specific navigation guide for use in spinal surgery including a first and a second guide member, both integral with a supporting frame and extending along a respective longitudinal development axis from a proximal opening to a distal opening for guiding surgical instruments on a first vertebra of a patient. The guide also includes contact members designed to match with a corresponding plurality of contact areas on a first and on a second vertebra of the patient to define a single coupling configuration of the patient-specific navigation guide on the patient's vertebrae. The first and second guide members are substantially opposite with respect to a median plane orthogonal to a straight line joining the longitudinal axes of the first and second guide members. The navigation guide also comprises a single additional third guide member that is integral with the frame and is adapted to abut on a second vertebra.

摘要: The present invention relates to a substrate of a metal, preferably titanium or a titanium alloy, having at least one surface coated with an oxide layer of the metal itself, said surface being modified and enriched with Ca, P, Ga, Sr, and, optionally, Ag by anodic spark deposition (ASD). The present invention also relates to a process for producing said substrate by applying the anodic spark deposition (ASD) technique to a substrate, optionally pre-treated, immersed in an electrolytic solution comprising Ca, P, Ga, Sr and, optionally, Ag. Finally, the present invention also relates to a prosthesis and a surgical implant comprising or preferably produced with said substrate, as well as the use thereof for the prevention of bacterial colonisation and promotion of osteointegration in implantology operations, preferably orthopaedic prosthetic implantology.
