摘要： A guiding system for the vertically movable apron or table of a machine tool such as a bending press or a shear comprises essentially two sets of rollers disposed in two vertical spaced planes and between vertical races carried by a movable apron and by the fixed frame structure of the machine, and includes tightening mechanism acting in the transverse direction on at least one of the races disposed on either side of one of the sets of rollers to permit clamping of the races against the corresponding rollers and taking up of play in the assembly.

The guiding devices are placed substantially at the level of the horizontal cutting plane while another guiding device is located in the bottom portion of the shearing machine. The extensions are adapted to receive and transmit the cutting power developed by jacks mounted on the stationary apron.

摘要： A hydraulic shearing machine for cutting steel sheets and the like in which the lower blade is fixed between two vertical end-plates of the frame while the upper blade is carried by a movable apron. The support provided for the lower cutting blade consists of a hollow box which extends horizontally between the vertical end-plates of the shearing-machine frame and only the ends of which are attached to the frame. The lower blade is fixed against one of the side walls of the support box so as to be displaced with respect to the theoretical center of rotation of said support box about its own axis. In consequence, the vertical forces exerted on the lower blade at the time of utilization of the shearing machine tend to produce a twisting movement of the support box, thus providing compensation for the horizontal flexural displacement of the box under the action of the horizontal forces. The movable upper apron of the shearing machine is preferably upwardly inclined in order to enhance the buckling action of the apron and to induce a forward displacement of the upper blade, thus having a contributory effect in reducing the clearance between the blades.

摘要： Punches having attachment heels of different types are mounted on a bending press by means of an adapter consisting of a bar or a series of bar segments secured to the top die-shoe of the press. The bottom portion of the adapter body is provided in one vertical face with a recess of greater depth than any type of punch attachment heel. A bearing spacer having the same height as the adapter body recess is placed against the punch heel either at the bottom of the recess or in an external position. The spacer and heel of the corresponding punch are held in position by a cramp which is tightly applied against the adapter body on the same side as the recess opening.
