    摘要: This invention offers a method of manufacturing a matted electrodeposition coating composition which does not mask the hue and the fine pattern which are inherent to the thing to be coated and also offers a method of conducting such an electrodeposition. The invention also relates to a matted electrodeposition coating composition which is characterized in containing (A) an anionic acryl resin having an acetoacetyl group in a side chain, (B) an amine and water, (C) an aldehyde and (D) an alkoxylated methylolmelamine resin with a water dilutability of not more than 4.0 cc and optionally containing (D) an acidic composition with pKa of not more than 1.9 as well as a method of producing a matted electrodeposition coating using the aforementioned composition.

    摘要: A shaped or unshaped article of a non-ferrous metal sheet preferably aluminum having an organic, surface coating film containing conductive and/or semiconductive fine particles, preferably molybdenum dissulfide is integrally bonded with a shaped or unshaped article of a steel sheet having or not having an organic, surface coating film; and this integrated body is subjected simultaneously to electrodeposition coating.The non-ferrous metal sheet having an organic, surface coating film containing conductive and/or semiconductive, fine particles shows excellent electrodeposition coating characteristics which can be easily regulated. Hence, integral coating after bounding with a steel sheet gives the same degree of film thickness and surface smoothness on both of the non-ferrous metal and steel sheets. This method is particularly suitable for the coating of automobile bodies integrally composed of non-ferrous metal and steel sheets ensuring energy- and labor-saving and giving final products of uniform finish.

    摘要: A method for treating a chromium-plated surface is provided characterized by the fact that a chromium-plated article is dipped as the cathode in a water-soluble or water-dispersible resin solution or dispersion prepared by diluting with water a resin salt of at least one synthetic polyamino resin with a water-soluble organic acid and/or a water-soluble inorganic acid, and then passing a direct current in the range of 10 - 300 volts through the aqueous bath so that there is formed a resin film on the chromium plated surface the chromium-plated surface is pretreated prior to the resin coating step by anodization in aqueous chromate solution or by heat treatment so that the surface electrode potential is greater than -0.42 volts.

    摘要: A color filter having discrete color layers arrayed on a substrate and light screening coating films interlaced between the color layers and if desired seal part having no coating film thereon, with high precision is industrially advantageously manufactured by (a) forming a transparent electroconductive layer on a transparent substrate, (b) coating the transparent electroconductive layer with a positive photoresist composition to form a photoresist layer, (c) exposing the photoresist layer to light through a photomask and developing the light-exposed photoresist layer to form a circuit-form photoresist layer, (d) etching and eliminating the transparent electroconductive layer bared in the gaps between the circuit-form photoresist layer to obtain a substrate having thereon a circuit-form laminate, (e) exposing the laminate to light through a photomask and developing the light-exposed laminate to bare the transparent electroconductive layer discretely, (f) carrying out electrodeposition using a thermosetting or photosensitive resin material-containing electro-deposition bath to form colored layers on the discretely bared transparent electroconductive layers, (g) eliminating the photoresist layer remaining after the development of step (e) to obtain a substrate having discrete color layers, the gaps being bared substrate surface and bared transparent electroconductive layer, (h) coating the substrate with a light screening material-containing photosensitive resin composition to form a light screening resin layer, and (i) exposing the light screening resin layer to light from the back side and developing the substrate to eliminate the unexposed part of the light screening resin layer. The color filter is well prevented from leakage of light and clear in coloration and superior in optical properties. A liquid crystal display of high image quality is manufactured by the use of this color filter.

    摘要: Industrial antifungal compositions of the present invention contain as active ingredients both the compounds represented by the general formula (I) and the compounds represented by the general formula (II), said general formulas being mentioned below.
