Abstract:
This disclosure provides systems and methods for sequencing nucleic acids using nucleotide analogues and translocation of tags from incorporated nucleotide analogues through a nanopore. In aspects, this disclosure is related to composition, method, and system for sequencing a nucleic acid using tag molecules and detection of translocation through a nanopore of tags released from incorporation of the molecule.
Abstract:
A method for temperature quantification using magnetic resonance fingerprinting (MRF) includes acquiring MRF data from a region of interest in a subject using an MRF pulse sequence with smoothly varying RF phase for MR resonant frequencies that is played out continuously. For each of a plurality of time intervals during acquisition of the MRF data the method further includes comparing a set of the MRF data associated with the time interval to an MRF dictionary to determine at least one quantitative parameter of the acquired MRF data, determining a temperature change based on the at least one quantitative parameter and generating a quantitative map of the temperature change in the region of interest. The region of interest can include aqueous and adipose tissue.

Abstract:
An antenna shroud or clutter fence has edge treatment for redirecting or absorbing energy which would otherwise be diffracted in an undesired direction. The edge treatment can include an array of corrugations which are about .lambda./4 deep for scattering sidelobes. The array of corrugations can be parallel to either the E-wave component or the H-wave component. Alternatively, the edge treatment can include an array of antennas encased in a dielectric extension.
