摘要： A device for engaging and disengaging of blanket cylinders in a printing assembly including two such blanket cylinders and two plate cylinders which are external relative to the blanket cylinder is disclosed. The device comprises a drive and a gear transmission device cooperating with the drive to impart an angular adjustment movement to each of the blanket cylinders. Each blanket cylinder includes an inner and an outer eccentric sleeve each provided with a toothed segment and movable by the gear transmission device in a predetermined direction to engage or disengage the blanket cylinders.

The drive also includes a hydraulic cylinder connected by a scanner and a switch to an electric motor for driving the immersion roller.

摘要： A timing device for controlling the operation of printing machines comprises: an encoder disc for generating pulses correspnding to angular increments during one rotation of the machine; at least one encoder disc for generating a singular synchronizing or reference signal; address generating means including a counter reset by the singular synchronizing pulse and counting the angular increments to continuously produce a bindary coded address at its outputs; a second counter coupled to the encoder of angular increments via an AND-gate controlled by a monostable multivibrator to produce at its outputs a binary coded address corresponding to the rotary speed of the printing machine. The addresses from respective counters are fed via corresponding data buses to address inputs of a programmable read only memory. From the outputs of the PROM timing output signals are read out as a function of the angular position of the machine or the function of the angular position and of the rotary speed of the machine.

摘要： An arrangement for adjusting the cylinders in a rotary printing press, in particular the distance between the two cylinder axes of the corresponding cylinders has a first roller ring which is arranged centrically with respect to the one of the cylinder axes of the respective one of the cylinders and a second roller ring radially movable and being arranged on the other cylinder. The second roller ring cooperates with the first roller ring and defines a bore hole of a predetermined diameter. A conical bushing is provided for supporting the second roller ring in the other cylinder and is axially movable with respect thereto so as to adjust the distance between the two cylinder axes. The conical bushing has a largest diameter which is still smaller than the diameter of the bore hole.

摘要： A control system for adjusting functional elements of consecutive printing units of a multi-color, sheet-fed, rotary printing machine during its changeover from a first or face printing mode of operation to the first and second or back-up printing mode of operation. The system includes a first control circuit fed with data signals and clock pulse signals for controlling functional elements of a first printing unit, and a second control circuit for controlling functional elements of the subsequent printing unit. An auxiliary control circuit is arranged between the two control circuits and cooperates with a timing pulse adjuster which in turn is controlled by timing pulses from a timing pulse generator, from a sheet-control device and from a machine stop detecting device. The auxiliary control circuit is controlled by comparison pulses from the timing pulse generator and from a signal delivered by a switching unit activated simultaneously with the changeover from the first printing to the first and second printing mode of operation of the printing machine.

摘要： A suction type separating element is assembled of a base body supported for a reciprocating vertical movement above the sheet edge, a hollow cylinder of elastomeric material having a circumferentially variable thickness and being provided in the region of the minimum thickness with an inwardly directed constriction preferably in the form of an annular section. The lower base of the elastomeric cylinder is terminated with a suction head adapted for abutment against the sheet to be lifted. Upon the formation of a vacuum in the hollow cylinder, the latter deforms in the range of the constriction and lifts the suction head with the sheet portion upwardly.
