摘要： The present invention provides a wound dressing tubing connector, comprising a first unit and a second unit which are releasably connectable and which when connected form a fluid path through the connector, wherein the first unit comprises an inlet and an outlet and wherein the second unit comprises an inlet and an outlet, in which the outlet of the first unit and the inlet of the second unit when connected together define the fluid path, and wherein the first unit and the second unit are connectable to form an air and fluid tight seal and wherein the first unit and/or the second unit comprises a pressure regulator valve in fluid communication with the fluid path. Also provided are systems, kits and methods of treatment.

摘要： Post-scar formation reduction apparatus comprises a biocompatible scar interface layer, a compressible pressure chamber overlying the scar interface layer, and an at least substantially uniformly compressible pressure element in the pressure chamber which extends over the scar interface layer. The pressure element has a bulk modulus enabling a predetermined uniform or substantially uniform compression of the pressure element in at least a direction perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to the scar interface layer on application of a specific pressure. Evacuator is also provided which at least partially evacuates the pressure chamber, whereby the pressure element is uniformly or substantially uniformly compressed in the direction of the scar interface layer and the pressure chamber positively urges the compressed pressure element towards the scar interface layer.

摘要： A therapeutic hand exercise device comprises one or more pliant sleeves (5) for attachment to one or more digits of a human hand, a chamber (4) provided in at least a dorsal region of the or each pliant sleeve (5), a liquid inlet to the chamber and a pump (3) for supplying pressurised liquid to the or each chamber. Each pliant sleeve (5) is movable between a relaxed state and a stiffened state in which the pliant sleeve forms a substantially rigid elongate member for holding a finger disposed within the sleeve in an extended position. A resilient member (6) is fitted to the Palmar side of each pliant sleeve which returns the finger to a state of contracture.
