摘要: The Row Digger provides a tool that enables an operator of the Row Digger to remove dirt piles interfering with irrigation between crop field furrows and irrigation trenches. The Row Digger includes a frame capable of moving from a transportation position to an operation position. The Row Digger also includes a plurality of digger arms extending from a central hub and each terminating in a corresponding digging disc. The central hub is connected to the frame at a hub angle and is capable of rotation about a hub axis. Each digging disc is also connected to the corresponding digger arm at a disc angle. Each digging disc enters a crop furrow and utilizes the slopes of the ridges to create the rotation required about the hub axis and ensure a path of travel for the digging discs that removes the impeding dirt piles.

摘要: An apparatus for fracturing a crust on an agricultural field includes a tool bar and a support attached to the tool bar. A plurality of discs are non-rotatably attached to an axle that is rotatably supported by the support. Each of the plurality of discs include a plurality of spaced apart teeth about the perimeter of each disc. The teeth comprise convex surfaces and concave surfaces that converge at distal ends where the plurality of discs rotate about the support such that the convex surfaces penetrate and fracture the crust and that any debris or trash picked up by the teeth is ejected by the angles of the teeth and angles of the support brackets preventing plugging and destruction of the rowed crop.

Each shield has a dish shaped body having a number of arcuate segments. Each segment has angularly disposed parts providing the body with a circumferential wave-like structure. A roller bearing secured to the central porion of the body mounts the shield on an axle mounted on the arm.

摘要: Disclosed is a subsoil rotary cultivator. The cultivator can advantageously include a tool bar which is mounted to the tractor in the usual fashion. Group frames are advantageously mounted upon the tool bar and have spring-loaded pivoting arms upon which are mounted main tubular members. The main tubular members support a disc assembly using bearings which are positioned within the main tubular member, preferably at the extreme ends thereof. A central shaft extends through the bearings and main tubular member and has a disc attached transversely at the lower end. A shield tube is attached to the rotating disc assembly and extends upwardly from near the disc thereby providing an exterior surface which rotates with the disc in order to deflect weeds, straw, viney plants, and other debris, thereby preventing the cultivator from becoming plugged when it is drawn through a field.

摘要: A cultivating attachment mounted on a tractor is driven by the power take-off drive of the tractor to simulate the customary action of a hoe when it is manually manipulated. The desired effect is achieved by providing a pair of ground engaging rotatable cutting elements at the ends of an arm mounted on a chassis which is connected to the tractor frame. Shafts are connected to the ends of the arm and also eccentrically connected to plates which are rotated by a drive connected to the power take-off of the tractor. Movement of the eccentrics imparts an oscillating and vertical movement to the arm and the cutting elements connected thereto as the cutting elements engage the ground being cultivated.
