    摘要: A method for determining a mass of an implement attached to a vehicle includes providing a powerlift having at least one upper link and one lower link, a support structure, and the implement. The method also includes defining an angle (ψ) between the upper link and a vehicle horizontal line, an angle (φ) between the lower link and a vehicle horizontal line, an angle of inclination (θ) of a vehicle horizontal line relative to a terrestrial horizontal line, a path (AK) that represents a connection along the lower link between the support structure and the implement, and a force (FE) impinging on a connection between the upper link and the implement and acting along the upper link. The mass is determined as a function of at least one of the angle (ψ), the angle (φ), the angle of inclination (θ), the path (AK), and the force (FE).

Furthermore, a loader arm (20) is connected to the mounting mast (18) for being pivoted vertically by a hydraulic cylinder (24) extending between the loader arm (20) and the mounting mast (18). In order to facilitate coupling of the mounting mast (18) to the mounting frame (16), it is proposed that a hydraulic system (85) be coupled to the hydraulic cylinder working chamber(s) (90, 96) and include adjusting means by which the hydraulic cylinder (24) can be brought into a floating position when the hydraulic fluid supply is decoupled from the hydraulic system (85).

    摘要: Adjustable fitments for attaching any one of a variety of implements to the ends of the lifting and tilting arms of a tractor of the type normally used with front end loaders. Each fitment has a base member and a travelling member movably connected together by a rod assembly, such as a threaded rod assembly, whereby the spacing between the members can be adjusted to coincide with that of the mounting pins of the implement to be attached. Each of the members has a socket for receiving and holding one of a pair of vertically spaced horizontally disposed implement mounting pins. One of the sockets opens forwardly and the other socket opens upwardly. A manually operable latch mechanism is provided on the member which has the forwardly open socket to lock a corresponding implement pin in that socket and thus retain each pin of the pair in its respective socket.

    摘要: A function management system includes a programmable control unit that can automatically coordinate combine traction functions and/or implement functions. In a learn mode, the operator performs a sequence of manual manipulations of the operator controlled traction and implement devices, and the control unit records and then stores information pertaining to the sequence of device operations. In an execute mode, the control unit automatically performs the sequence of device operations so that the sequence of operations occurs at the same intervals at which they were learned. As one example of a sequence, when the combine approaches the end of a field, at the touch of one button, the header is raised, the unloading auger is pivoted to an inboard position for safe turning, the ground speed is increased for rapid travel, the four wheel drive used during harvesting in the field is disengaged, the crop-processing implement speed, such as a rotor speed for a rotary crop-processing unit, is decreased, and steering of the combine is controlled to position the combine to the point of reentering the field. The sequence of device operations can be pre-programmed or input by the operator in the learn mode.
