    摘要: A ditch forming implement includes a frame supported for movement across the ground in a forward working direction when connected to a towing vehicle. A rotating member, for example a tire having a resilient main body and integral resilient paddles formed thereon, is rotatably supported on the frame within an upright plane oriented transversely to the forward working direction. The frame may also support a shovel on an implement shank spaced forwardly of the rotating member, an adjustable guide wheel supported rearwardly of the rotating member for controlling depth of the rotating member, and a grader blade supported forwardly and laterally offset to one side of the rotating member for widening a ditch to be formed by the implement.

Each one of lift cylinders is connected to a lifter bracket through first support means, and each other ends of the lift cylinders is connected to a forward position compared to a rear in portion in a draw bar, through second support means. Each one ends and the other end of the lift cylinders are offset from each other with respect to a front-rear direction of the motor grader as viewed from above the motor grader, thereby disposing the pair of lift cylinders inclined in the front-rear direction of the motor as viewed from a side of the motor grader. With this structure, it is possible to obtain the motor grader in which a height position of each end of the lift cylinders can be substantially equal to a height position of the lifter bracket as viewed from the side of the motor grader, and a visibility hindrance by the pair of lift cylinders can extremely be lowered.

    摘要: The cutting blades and smoothing blades of a road maintenance vehicle are adjustable in position with respect to the wheels to avoid extremes in changes in the depth of a cut by a blade or the height of the blades caused by wheels of the vehicle dropping into low places in a road. By including a selected number of wheels mounted to the same stiff frame, the wheels riding on the highest part of the road will lift the rigid frame and other wheels rather than the wheels riding on the lowest part of the road determining the depth of the cut of the cutting blades. The height of the blades with respect to the wheels can then be adjusted so that they never cut too deep and overly stress the blades but do cut the highest elevations of the road and move the loose dirt and gravel into the lower parts of the road. A first frame is supported by wheels and a second frame is movably mounted to the first frame.

    摘要: An implement is disclosed having a unique blade assembly, a unique claw assembly, and a unique gradient system for raising, lowering, leveling, and changing the gradient of an implement. The blade angle and blade pitch can be independently adjusted on the blade assembly. The blade assembly and claw assembly use chains to provide force to the lower portions of the blade and prongs, respectively, to maintain the position of the lower portions of the blade and prongs, respectively, when there is forward motion of the implement. The gradient system enables independent height adjustment of each side, right and left, of the implement. When the gradient system is incorporated into the same implement as the blade assembly, the combination makes the gradient of the blade adjustable as well.
